Like last year, we are losing some fantastic seniors, but every team does. Returning players are playing club this summer and will continue to improve. The future is bright for us. Let the haters keep on hating while we keep on grinding.

Sounds like your experience is very different from DD’s friends.

Your friends DD is probably a benchwarmer and they have unrealistic view of her abilities. This year and last year’s records speak to her coaching. It is about winning and competing at a high level. Maybe they should try a public school if they think everyone is equal then?

Actually it speaks to the talent of the players, not her coaching abilities. See last year's WCAC Semi-final for her lack of coaching ability. And don't forget, they only beat BI by 1 in the semi-final this year after beating them by 12 less than 3 weeks earlier. That is actually bad coaching to have that big of a swing.

They also doubled up GC on draws in the final yet got beat by 10 with most of their own goals coming on 8m, not live play. That is not good coaching.

Why did they fire a coach who made it to the championship game for the first time in school history?

#4 in the DMV is not good enough here at SJC. We expect to be a national contender. Look at the boys team.

Could there be other factors at play here?

Wrong. Better coaching would have tipped the scales last year and this year. When you have the number of DI commits over the past two years, coaching is the reason they didn’t achieve greater success.

SJC has moved on from their Coach and I'm sure they have their reasons. Let's please move on.....on this thread.

At 2:21 am! You must really hated this talk.

Good opportunity to remember to commit to a school, not a coach. Learning lesson.

If you were on the bench during practices and games this is your chance to work hard during the summer and earn a field spot.

Some of the best teams in the country--see STAB--had a very difficult time scoring against the GC defense. Seems like you need a better argument. I watched that final. SJC played hard from whistle to whistle, and not just the star seniors, the whole team. That's coaching.

No evidence that she was fired. Just a lot of speculation.

If I was her, I would get out of dodge too with this crowd after you!
