No, the coach was fired. |
They certainly haven't told incoming 2028 lax families that. |
| So who exactly is supposed to contact the 2028 families? Athletics or Admissions? Deposits have been paid. |
Not sure if telling the 2018 lax families is in SJCs interest. Until school starts the possibility of transfer exists. I’m sure they want to keep it quiet until they can announce a replacement. |
| It took Visi 6+ months to hire a coach and they ended up with a parent. Bullis is looking too. It will be very interesting who they might be able to get. Current coach taught at the school, made it to the their first ever conference championship, and was fired. Seems like a setup for failure. |
They are not on the team anyways. They hope to tryout and make it. So Stupid of people to think they are entitled and not even made the team. |
28 families should have done a little bit more due dilegence. |
Who is on the team? |
Probably because real coaches don’t want to put up with the entitled parents that show on this board! |
| Given SJC’s commitment to athletics and the resources they have, I’m sure they will find a good coach. |
I suspect they did adequate due diligence on the coaching staff and liked what they saw. Probably what they failed to do was evaluate the culture, including the parent group. |
| Culture is created by the coach. |
SJC will have numerous qualified applicants. SJC has one of the best Strength & Conditioning programs in the DMV which is a big draw for any incoming Coach. Love how people think incoming Freshman are the end all be all for SJC. Plenty of talent on current Roster and they'll remain competitive w/ or w/o 28 recruits. |
| Healthy baller is a better option for girls lacrosse players. |
| Does SJC have any talent coming in next year? If so, from which club(s)? |
