Oh yes, that’s why they kept their titles or took them in the first place. ![]() |
But most people detest them. They lost the respect of people who initially adored them. Now they are viewed as money grubbing celebrity wannabes. It’s pathetic. |
Wasn't it Eugenie? She's really pretty. I think you're referring to her sister who is fine, but less blessed in the looks dept. Beatrice. |
I think they’re awesome. I’d rather hang out with them over any royals in the world. Most people I know who aren’t racist xenophobes agree. If everyone hates them, they would have gotten that ridiculous Netflix deal. Money talks, not message boards or British tabloids. Also, who gives a shit what anyone else thinks? Those people who don’t like them didn’t want to like her anyway because she’s a black American who completely and utterly outshone everyone else in that family. Good for her for recognizing that she was in a no win situation, shackled and critiqued for life, and found out a solution that was far superior to her other options. |
Meant to say would NOT have gotten that ridiculous Netflix deal above. |
Heartbreaking for any person who deals with a mc. |
It was only a matter of time before she jumped on this train. For a couple that moved across the pond to preserve their privacy, they sure continue to overshare a lot of private moments with the general public. |
I’m writing her off. How dare she parlay her miscarriage into Black Lives Matter |
Timing of this article is interesting considering she is losing her court case against the media after being found to have lied about feeding info to the writers of the FF book as well as their recent PR blunder with Remembrance Day. |
I find the NYT column super obnoxious. It is a very me-centered essay better suited for social media or a magazine. I couldn't make it through the whole thing. Really off-putting for a couple that wants privacy. I am sorry for their loss. |
First Woman to Speak Up About Miscarriage and Make It a Movement. I too am sorry for their loss, it is terrible, been there. I almost can’t believe the NYT published this, but the NYT has really upped their fluff-and-celeb-woke content in recent years, disappointedly. |
Gag me. |
I find it manipulative and overly brand-focused to make an essay about miscarriage actually an opportunity to try to fix her “no one has asked me if I’m OK” PR blunder during the Africa documentary a few years back, and spin “Are you OK” into some sort of empathy movement. Very sorry for anyone who loses a wanted pregnancy but dang is anything not a branding campaign? |
Wow. As a member of this particular club this piece was annoying to read. Meghan is an absolute shitastic writer and really needs to stop trying. The part below just didn't happen. No way, she's just full of shit. I'm sorry for her loss, because I do know what it's like, but stop the flowery over descriptive prose with unnecessary embellishing because she comes across as an idiot instead of a real person.
"I dropped to the floor with him in my arms, humming a lullaby to keep us both calm, the cheerful tune a stark contrast to my sense that something was not right," she wrote. |
