Maybe her father was familiar with some of these very scary posts on trip advisor te drugging and serious security issues in DR

Another incident from only 2 months ago, at Hard Rock, purportedly a safer resort. Pls note the targets are sometimes in groups, even with children.
As in this case and the missing girl, resorts and locals dismiss and minimize safety concerns. It protects tourism but leaves predators unchecked. |
This thread is wild. Some of you have some very active imaginations. Or obsessions. It’s hard to tell which. |
Resorts may be safer, relatively, than cities but robberies and sexual assaults occur, often involving drugged drinks.
This from a USA Today article. It also included the account of a woman who was not alone and was served a drugged drink in a public area and then was sexually assaulted. The missing girl was far more vulnerable. |
Facts re: security concerns are not imaginary. |
Interpol is not imaginary. |
I feel like you have these same issues in Mexico...or any spring break destination in the US...or any college campus in the US... |
If she came out of the water and saw this guy who she barely knew passed out, she would have wobbled her way back to the resort. |
Are the girlfriends back at school? |
Sad that things like this need to keep happening for people to realize DR is a s**thole and no one without a death wish should go there |
I doubt that very much. |
What else would she do? There is no evidence she came out and lay down on the beach. Unlikely she would wander father down in the beach into the dark. Even drunk, her brain would take her towards the lights. And being crashed into the sand by the waves in the water would have probably sobered her up slightly. |
Alcohol is proven to be a toxin for heath and root cause of so much that goes wrong from accidents, partner abuse, loss of jobs, sexual assaults, physical assaults, divorces, child abuse, elder abuse, financial problems, hospitalization and so much more |
I salute her father for fighting for his daughter when rest of the world was fine believing the story of the suspect and closing the case. |
