I don't buy this. I think Kate is actually in that photo and I don't even think they messed with her face. I think the lighting looks different because Charlotte is blocking part of the light source onto Kate's face, and also because I think they messed with the lighting and white balance on the photo in a way that makes the contrast between Kate's face and the kid's faces more exaggerated.

I should also note here that when people have been doing the photoshop analysis on the photo online, many people are changing the contrast in order to facilitate seeing more detail in certain parts of the photo. As a result, there are quite a few images of this photo online that are doctored even more than what was posted by the Wales's, and this might be contributing to the speculation about Kate's face being photoshopped in because if you change the contrast on this photo, it will make the kid's face brighter and Kate's face darker every time, because they are in light and her face is slightly shadowed by Charlotte's body and also just being surrounded by the kids.

What about the lighting on her left hand? It's very much from the left.

But that makes no sense because if the allegation is that they used the Vogue cover to photoshop her into the picture, where did the hand come from? If they were actually photoshopping her into the photo, presumably there was an actual person there with the kids and it's her hand. So arguing over the lighting of her hand makes no sense.

Also, think people. If Kensington Palace was going to photoshop the Princess of Wales into a photo, WHY would they use a Vogue cover to do it. I think the Palace has a few photos of Kate lying around, I don't think they'd need to use a photo from a magazine cover.

Maybe Kate looks similar in both photos because (gasp!) it's the same person.

I actually do think that photo is photoshopped to death (I think it was a photo from last November they doctored to try and pass as more recent) but the speculation about them photoshopping her head in makes no sense at all. Kate was seen publicly with her kids in November and December. She was photographed with them. If they were going to use an old photo for the MD picture, they didn't need to photoshop Kate in. She was in the picture. It just wasn't taken in 2024. That's the part they lied/are lying about.

I do believe the photoshopped hand theory--the index finger knuckle is way too short to be hers (https://twitter.com/byetwit/status/1766844203445657913?s=20) and the lighting of her hand is all wrong compared to everybody else in the photo, including Kate's own face.

I don't have an opinion on photoshopping the head. Maybe, maybe not.

I think she's just not great at photoshop, had to photoshop swollen hands too...Nobody wants to see her looking big or bad in any way. I think about that sometimes: people like her or Jackie O., 20lbs heavier, wouldn't have been liked at all, or married who they did. The pressure to look perfect is real.

Under what scenario would her leaving, seeing the kids less often, but leaving William and the RH still with full access to the kids, more beneficial for the kids?
