I think the pic was pre-surgery, and I am not sure why she insists on taking her own pics and editing them. She's not a pro, and that's ok. My guess is she looks like crap right now, bloated from steroids, and doesn't want people to see her that way. But of course it backfired spectacularly due to all the crazy conspiracy theorists out there.

I'm not at all a conspiracy theorist and up until yesterday, I assumed this was all just Kate wanting privacy to recovery from the surgery (and probably from steroids induced swelling, since I believe this is all Crohn's related)... but why do we think the person in the car was Kate? She wasn't actually visible at all. If they were purposefully being photographed today, wouldn't they have allowed a shot that made it clearer that it *was* Kate? Also, if that really was Kate, seen for the 1st/2nd time in months after yesterday's frenzy... are we really meant to believe that no paparazzi followed them to see where Kate went for her "private appointment"? It's absurd.

I think you are way underestimating the power of the BRF. Do you think this is her first “private appointment” since she has been home from the hospital? How has she never been pictured until now when they need her to be seen?

Most people never thought she was dead. That was crazy.

The photo of them was arranged by the BRF, who has an agreement with the British press that prevents those kinds of paparazzi shots from being published without BRF permission. Since the photo was taken and published, we can assume the BRF consented, and it's highly likely they tipped off the press to when and where the photo could be taken. The BRF had a strong reason to get a contemporaneous photo of Catherine and William together into the media, and this allowed them to do it without having to release an official photo.

It IS strange that they were in the same car even though they were going to different places, especially since he was going to an official event. Even if you really like your spouse, you don't share a car to go to different places. Why would you need to? If they are happy at home, didn't they see each other all weekend? Didn't they spend Mother's Day together with their children? Didn't they sleep in the same bed last night and have breakfast together this morning? What possible reason would a happy couple with access to basically unlimited vehicles have to share a ride? Unless it was important that they be photographed together in order to stamp down rumors that they are separated.

And note, this is not a photo of them looking happy together. Or even looking AT each other. This really was a "proof of life" photo and nothing more. I don't think they even live in the same house.

Not "imply," say. They said it was taken last week by PW in the caption. That was just a flabbergasting lie if it's an old photo.

I am agreeing. This whole thing is looking really strange. Why can she not be in an actual photo? I am now wondering if she has been i. any car. This is all so easy to fix and the fact they are not is creating more and more people who don’t even think of Royals to worry er what is going on. Her surgery was awhile ago. I am not buying that she cannot be seen at this point unless there is something more going on.

I agree, it's so odd. The easiest explanation is that she just wasn't wearing the ring for this photo. I do think it was taken the same day as the baby bank video based on the clothes, but it looks like it was taken at home. Maybe she doesn't wear that giant ring 100% of the time at home but always wears it for public events, and this might have just been a photo taken at home (maybe even actually by William) because the kids were dressed up and Kate's hair and makeup were done for the event and they wanted a cute pic of the four of them together.

I also don't see any obvious photoshopping on her hand itself that would indicate the ring was removed from the photo. I think she just wasn't wearing it.

Dear her fingers are clearly photoshopped. Nothing about this situation is funny.

No it's not funny. She was probably wearing her ring in the original photo, but they photoshopped and deleted her ring or added someone's hand without the ring. It's a sign for us "The crazies" to prepare for something big coming on the Sunday after Easter!!! Everything they are giving us so far are actually preludes, not PR disasters.
