ABC News was at the courthouse and also meeting with various people last week in Fairfax

Although this reporter is now with ABC she had a long stint at Faux News before so her credibility and pursuit of the "truth" should be suspect. And remember our local ABC station is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group--hardly a bastion of independent reporting.

This reporter had two top crime podcasts on Apple, which has pretty high editorial standards for what they promote. Also, this story isn’t presidential politics …

The only thing I think is weird is how the two reporters have not shared any details about the motion when it’s public info. But that’s probably just my own curiosity killing me. Lol.

I'm curious why they are not sharing public info now, in a separate story, but are keeping mum about all while pursuing a bigger story.

Anyone live in Fairfax that could go and read the motion, response and order for us? Even photograph and post images? It's public info and if in DC or fed court we'd all be able to click and see an image. So frustrating to wait.

I'm sure reporters were assigned to cover the prelim. Several local outlets had covered prior hearings, WUSA9, NBC4, DCNewsNOW, WP, Daily Beast, etc. Maybe those assignments were pulled when it was cancelled but ABC was in town from NY so did some digging anyway. Wish they would do a brief update in the meantime but that was more likely from print outlets.

Hopefully a DCUM reader will have time to swing by the courthouse to update us all...or she may try for bond again and a journalist may cover both?

I personally knew Joe. He was a wonderful, kind soul.
