| Rupert is still kicking at age 90, I'm not sure why people think Logan *has* to be killed off. Nobody is going to watch a show with just these dipshit layabout kids. |
| The most annoying part of the show are the pretentious dorks who pretend there's so much depth and they "get it." There's no there there – it's just a snarky soap opera. Cheap Sunday night entertainment. |
Yes, we know, you've made this same comment repeatedly. Time to move along. |
I've watched Matthew Macfadyen since he was in the BBC MI-5. I'd call him cute but not hot, not even as Mr. Darcy. He is amazing as Tom though. He really embodies the character. I absolutely loved him refusing to sleep with Shiv because no baby and saying it was like throwing cake batter against the wall.* *In real life, this would obviously be kind of horrific, but on this show, it's hilarious. |
Somewhere I read that one of the cast said that next weeks party episode will be a critical episode. It seems like Ken is bound to completely implode at some point soon. Totally agree with the previous poster who said the show is shallow soap opera. And I don't see anything wrong with that. A lot of TV is pretty shallow but still enjoyable. Most people I know do not sit around reading Tolstoy to unwind after a long day at work. |

Tom and Greg had my favorite exchange of the episode this week:
Tom: It's okay, this is a safe space. You don't have to pretend to like Hamilton. Greg: I... I do like Hamilton. Tom: Sure you do, buddy. We all do. I normally find all of these people revolting and the secret GOP convention for billionaires and fascists is definitely not my scene, but I do love the idea of a setting where it would be okay to say you don't like Hamilton. Agree Tom is the most intriguing character of the season. The scene in the diner was interesting to me because he's one of the few characters who has ever lived a life where diner food probably once featured regularly. He might be the only one to actually understand, on some level, how privileged they are, which also might be why he is working so hard to avoid losing that privilege. Even if it means being willing to go to prison for a while to hold onto his spot in the family. It's a curious dynamic. |

Great sexual tension between Roman and hitler youth.
Speaking of sexual tension, Logan and the “assistant”. Yowsa. She has an agenda and she could give a f$&! about the siblings. Her slinking around, adding in quiet comments, openly being amused when Logan asked her to buy Shiv a medal for saving the company. |
| Is Marcia gone again? She agreed to come back to Logan at the beginning of the season, and there were a few scenes with lawyers, presumably working out a new financial agreement to stay. Did I miss an update about her absence? I wonder if the new assistant is some kind of plant, she's acting suspicious. |
Agree. |
They mentioned who she’s marrying, so the financial agreement was for her to go. |
| I used to like this show now I think it is just stupid. And the writing? Who is telling them to end every sentence with "yeah"??? |
No. They mentioned who Caroline is marrying. |
No they were talking about their biological mother, not the step mother. |
No that's the first wife who's getting remarried. Marcia is the current wife - the one played by Hiam Abbass (who, if you ever want to see her in a very different role, plays the mom on Ramy and is fantastic). |
Caroline is probably the second wife. The first is assumed to be connors mom but they have never mentioned who she is. |
