She keeps committing unforced errors. Why did she bring up the idea of shift schedules? Why did she send out this email about soliciting votes?

Her appeal seems to be that she is “not APE.” That means her job in this campaign is to not piss people off and stay bland enough that APE haters will vote for her as the better alternative. I’m following the AEM thread too, and can’t help but notice that SR supporters seem to be fanning the flames. I get that they won’t vote for Turner ever, but if I was a candidate, I wouldn’t want the other polarizing side actively starting discussions on my behalf.

Anyone who even remotely associates themselves with being supportive of schools being open full time now gets blocked by SR supporters. So then SR people post things in AEM, blast pro-openers, but then said pro-openers cannot see the post/comments nor respond. If you're in AEM and you're not aligned with SR and their views, you might as well just leave AEM.

Surely the Turner campaign isn’t sending out emails about a plan to show up at people’s doors and coerce them into voting on tablets with shady software. MK sounds insane. I can understand sending out an alarm if they had any proof this was happening, but given that voting won’t even start for another week...seems very underhanded to make a totally fabricated accusation like that. I wasn’t really paying that much attention to the race before this, but I am definitely going to vote for the other candidate now.

It's not misinformation. Both campaigns were expected by multiple sources to harvest votes. She's saying that she doesn't think campaigns harvesting votes is appropriate. Not OP, but it is a short thread, just because it's a nothing burger. I lurk in SR and can confirm that some of their louder voices commented. If they do block people, that's just petty though. They really do enjoy talking to themselves, it seems.
