These signs were all standing yesterday afternoon (we walk by at least 2x/day) and as of this morning just the MK signs were knocked over (in between other standing signs)... |
Why do you assume you know who PP is? So bizarre... PP obviously guessed you were TT because of the crazy all-cap. You think there is just ONE person who disagrees with you? |
All of the signs were standing as of yesterday afternoon and then this morning just the MK signs (interspersed between other signs) are down. Even if you aren't TT you sure sound those angry bro dads. Sure you didn't knock any over.... ![]() |
Just like this discussion over blown over yard signs (really?), MK's denouncement of "harvesting votes" is misguided, petty and ultimately, helps MT more than MK. You're not doing her campaign any favors, just so you know. |
Are you new to the interwebs? There are multiple people posting. I DGAF about the "harvesting votes" nonsense. Just calling out the petty MT supporters who knock down lawn signs. ![]() |
Uh. You sound mature. Probably just as mature as those you accuse of mowing signs down. The funny thing about yard signs that its easy enough to put them back up. If you find another MK sign down, why don't you be a true patriot and help your fellow neighbor out? This is a local SB election. Everybody has lost their goddamn minds, including the candidates. |
Meh - I don't care about MK enough to pick them up. Plus, they are in a busy area and I don't want to cross over with my dogs. False equivalence. I'm not out knocking down signs. Or literally screaming at other people... |
Here's another option: stop putting these signs everywhere! It's basically litter that gets caught in bushes and creeks. |

Here's my concern about MK's weird rhetorical strategy to spread distrust and "stranger danger" about the voting process.
If this is a real issue, then she needs to call out the Arlington County Democratic Committee, the organization that devises, regulates, and approves the entire process. This so-called problem is structural isn't it? Her posturing makes me wonder if she knows how to address broader (and more critical) structural issues like racism and segregation. At this point, I'm hoping for a strong independent candidate with lefty politics and actual experience with structural change. |
That's what she did. Her statement says that she asked the Arl Dems to change their rules to prohibit this. If they had agreed, then why would she have had to ask her opponent not to harvest votes? Sounds like a real issue to me! |
Yeah. I saw that on a major N/S road the other day. Wind doesn't just target orange signs. |
Why didn’t the committee agree to change the rules? Why are we demanding a statement from her opponent but not the group that is accountable? |
I like that idea even better! Although signage is one of APE's core skills. Screaming at people and putting up signs. ![]() |
It's about the school board candidates. And signage is 75% of APE/MT's strategy. |
