Overall, it is becoming earlier for many kids. Hormones in water/food, chemicals and obesity are known causes. There are obviously genetic tendency in families regarding constitutional delays (late growers) vs early growers in families. Some kids will reach full height by 7th grade and some not until they are in college.

That said, there is HUGE variation in boys from ages 11-17 in terms of when the start and stop growing. This is why soccer during 6-8th grade can have some crazy results and teams can look very different later on.

Yeah, I heard. The ASA coaches were too busy jumping the line for their COVID vaccines to run futsal.

I drove past the tennis courts at Minnie Howard about an hour ago and they were empty? All the boys were playing soccer up at Fort Ward. Stop bitching about the kids using them if you aren't going to use them.
