But I thought it was absolutely insane all these videos this woman was posting. Videos of your kid's birthday cake, videos of you making breakfast, videos of you at the park. I wouldn't call it "normal", but it is definitely a thing that happens frequently. And a lot of these kids are growing up with having their lives documented to this extent.

MLMs encourage that aspirational kind of posting, to show off how amazing their life is for using the product, and as a recruitment tool -- look how easy it is for me to passively make money while taking my kids to the pool, etc.

Plus a lot of these people want to be influencers and are hoping brands will notice them for sponsorships and collaborations.

That's what it felt like - it felt like I was seeing a bad advertisement for a non-existent product. Very bizarre

I agree. The videos attempting to create scenes of a perfect life, perfect kids, perfect marriage, were hard to watch.
