To All Boys Academy U13 - U19 Teams:

The McLean Youth Soccer leadership has reached out to us regarding a potential COVID case in their program. Out of an abundance of caution, the technical leaderships of Arlington Soccer and McLean Youth Soccer have agreed to cancel the full slate of ECNL games schedules for Sunday, October 11.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will be in touch with rescheduling information when it becomes available.

The tests came back negative (twice) and practice has resumed.

Games were canceled out of an abudence of precaution--decisions made by both clubs. The procedures in place are working.

Yes games were cancelled out of abundance of caution.

Parents should be happy the situation was taken seriously and thrilled to know there was NO actual case.

Soccer is not a high risk sport!

Bumping this so others can add. There have been questions in other Sections on DCUM about cases among teams with HS sports about to start. Though it looks like indoor HS sports were delayed today.
