The only way DC gun laws will change is if Trump comes out and declares DC a gun free zone. That is al sad reality.

This.

If Trump came out tomorrow and said he’d be going door to door taking guns in DC, DCUM libs would be demanding someone sell them a gun immediately.

You sure are ridiculous. Do you ever read your own posts and wonder, hey, are people laughing at my nonsense?

Except we both know it’s true.

You don’t even need to understand a topic. You can base your reaction simply as “the opposite of whatever drumpff wants”.

Your brain is binary.

Take your Fox-news-comments-section babyish insults over to the Political forum. They have more tolerance for this BS there. That’s why I avoid the Political forum—too many pugnacious idiots.

Owned.

And stop fear-mongering here to try to make us all support unlimited gun ownership.

Haha, the goofy in here is off the charts.

It's amazing that one-time gun haters are frantically trying to arm up, and in some cases more than willing to break the law and look the other way now that it's danger close time for them.

Good luck getting those permits, and if you do, better hope you don't get red-flagged by your gun-hating buddies, because it will have all been for naught. I guess all that blathering on about "loopholes" by the media doesn't mean anything now, eh?

Hindsight is most definitely 20/20.

It does seem apparent that first-time gun owners are driving current record sales (since “gun nuts” stocked up long ago).

Why do I feel as if most all of the new owners are liberal democrats who have support banning other people from owning a simple firearm?

Actual gun owners are sitting this panic buying spree out. The people in lines around the block at gun stores are all Susan-come-lately’s.

Last year they were against owning guns. Now they’re scared of not owning one.

The supply of “new” guns in this country has been completely exhausted in the last few weeks. From the retail level up to the distributors, inventory has mostly been cleaned out of the sorts of guns that are best suited for home defense, such as shorter length shotguns, AR15-type rifles, and handguns. You can still find hunting rifles, but those are a terrible choice for home defense, since they typically fire bullets that can penetrate through multiple houses or travel literally miles before stopping.

But there is definitely a gun shortage going on right now that is every bit the equal of the TP shortage, in terms of extent.

Used guns are no bargain now either. If you can find someone willing to sell one, prices are up 500-600% in the last few weeks.

Not that PP. Gun owners didn't buy guns January to March. They bought ammunition.

Source: me and my five gun-owning friends.
