You can buy $30 bidets on Amazon
Electric blanket on your chair when you work in an icebox

Can we do this in a rental?

Yes you can! Not permanent and you just remove when you move out. We did it in our last apartment.

I've been thinking about it but I'm worried it would be like one of those potty-seat raising attachments to the toilet like my grandmothers both used when they were in wheelchairs (and where pee goes everywhere and the bathroom stinks). Is it?

Not at all. Ours has no impact on the seat itself. There’s a control panel on the side of toilet and embedded inside the bowl is the sprayer. Seat is original to toilet and unmodified.

Really good perspective on all sorts of family dramas.

So much from the Travel forum, but especially about the Red Cap service for Amtrak when we had a big group traveling to NYC and wanted seats together.

Identifying that my DH has undiagnosed ADHD and so does his father, who may also have oppositional disorder. But on balance, DH ain't so bad compared to many in the Relationship forum.

The Japanese sunscreen from the Beauty forum.

say more!
I learned about 10 hour sunscreen here and it's saved my kids' skin.

Haven't been on here that long, but 95% sure it's this. It's the best! Caveat. If you are very dry, it does contain some alcohol.

They sell one that doesn't raise the seat at all. Some do, just read the reviews. My DH installed ours in about 10 minutes and I wish we had purchased it sooner. Our 6 year old is enamoured with it.

Probably not a good sign that I've been doing the "happy but dumb" routine with my husband for years without realizing it, huh?

I learned about NPD from DCUM. Almost positive my mom has it. Learning about NPD allowed me to research it, find ways to deal with her since she will probably never change, and lead me to the subreddit for adult children of NPD parents.

Okay, so I missed that one. I wear capris a lot. Clue me in so I know, please! I'll probably still wear them but then at least I'll know what the problem is!
