| I would have expected the flight attendants to do more to stop this little terror. Didn't they have snacks, drinks, pens, pencils or whatever? No doctors or nurses onboard? Someone could have done something more than to have people suffer for 8 hours. |
Do you think some doctor is going to sedate a child on board a plane? Get a grip! |
| At a minimum, I am shocked the mother was not told the child could not climb all over the plane. Did the flight attendants do ANYTHING?? |
This is what really surprises me. The screaming is annoying and distressing, but the running wild and climbing seems unsafe to the child, fellow passengers, and the crew. I'm surprised they didn't insist that she keep the kid in his seat. |
Exactly. Maybe crews need to have harnesses for kids like that to attach them to their seats or to the jumpseats. |
And by that I mean locking harnesses. |
| Flight attendants are worthless in my opinion. |
| THIS IS AN OLD STORY EVERYONE! The person who made the video never filed a complaint with the airline. It took place last August. |
I still think it matters---at least it's getting out there. Too bad he didn't complain earlier or release it earlier. |
Its called parents bring a car seat and strap the kid in. If there were a doctor or nurse, they could have assessed for ear or other issues and given medication. I always travel with kids ibuprofen or Tylenol, and a few other meds for my child just in case so if anyone asked I'd gladly give this. But this is a year old video. Mom should have had child in the seat. There was no excuse for calling the child to climb and run. |
I'm a nurse. I dont carry an otoscope. I also don't dispense meds to strangers on planes. Also, you think this terror kid would allow someone to look in his ears? |
| Why does it matter that this video is from half a year ago? It still happened. Nothing changes. |
Why does this video matter, period? This guy released it just so everyone could get their indignation up. There’s nothing to be done about it now. |
Who gives a shit if it was 6 months ago? The kid was still a little terror and should have been drugged. |
It has the opposite effect on some kids (about 5-10% of children*). For most, it is sedating. *http://www.nytimes.com/2007/08/14/health/14seda.html |
