Based on people I know personally - and here on DCUM - the more recklessly someone throws around the word "racist," the more hypocritical and sanctimonious they are.

In my kids' elementary and middle schools, they have had to ban the word "racist" as it has become such a constant accusation, exclaimed in any and every situation, most of which have nothing to do with racism. The word has become meaningless and honestly, a joke, because of its misuse and overuse.

Wait a second. They do not let children in an ES and an MS say the word racist? Seriously? Where do you live, in Alabama? Not to mention that that is likely illegal.

Okay, I exaggerated when I said it was banned. The teachers in my kids' classes, last year and now again this year, have had to tell kids to stop shouting our "RACIST!" all the time as it had become obnoxious and out of control.

Maybe try sticking to the truth. People will be a lot less likely to go

This is good advice and I'll take it. Similarly, if liberals would stop calling every conservative a racist, people would be a lot less likely to Half of all Americans (give or take) are not racists.

+1,000
You'd think by now liberals would have learned their lesson, but apparently not.

Republicans are all about "teaching lessons", huh?

Don't be poor.
Don't be educated.
Don't get pregnant.
Don't be brown.
Don't be anything but Christian.
Don't believe in science.

You will sure teach us all.

White man? Check.

Pick up truck? Check.

Running over people of color and Jews? Check.

So it seems like the ad was pretty accurate after all.

Yup.

Pick up truck? Check.

Running over infidels? Check.

So it seems like the ad was totally off base. This group should have made an ad showing the real danger to Americans. Radical Islam.

Hey - I fixed it for you.

Why on earth would we give AF about a bunch of deplorables? I'd rather lose another election than cater to selfish assholes, racists, misogynists, xenophobes, etc. The Rs can have you. All of you. So nicely packaged up in your basket.

We'll you sure as hell should stop demonizing everyone who didn't vote for Hillary. As for the 1% of Americans who make up Neo-Nazis and Antifa, they deserve our condemnation.

LOL. It's not like you'd vote D anyway. So keep bitching if you want, but it just makes you look pathetic. "Boo hoo. Poor us."

Oh my...now this thread has, as they used to say, truly jumped the shark.

Would you care to explain your snark to the rest of us?

I am not demonizing everyone who didn't vote for Hillary. Certainly Ralph Northam isn't. I do think the number of Americans who voted based on racism and/or misogyny, homophobia, etc was far more than 1%.

I do see Ed Gillespie implying that Democrats support MS 13, and sex crimes. I would say that is a pretty dangerous demonizing. I am glad Ralph is getting the discussion back to health care, the environment, and funding education. And to the way Ed Gillespie has aligned himself with the Trump.

Wow. Amazing how insistent liberals are on spewing venom at anybody who didn't vote for Hillary. Don't cry when you lose the next election, too. (And WE are the idiots?)

When will you learn that there is no place at the table for you? By you I mean selfish assholes, racists, misogynists, xenophobes, etc. Sure, you got your wish with Trump and you're flying high and proud. But if history teaches us anything is that people don't put up with your shit for very long. You will go back into your holes soon enough. Will you stop having hate in your heart. No you will not. But at least you'll be less bold and loud about it.

I do think reasonable objective minds can see the hypocrisy of these posters who are throwing insults and making sweeping generalizations about large groups of people who differ from them in their political affiliations and voting choices.
