White teen girls decked out in MAGA gear show up to Howard Univ to troll black students

So what... you show up at a Redskins game with and Eagles jersey you get shit.

You show up at a HBU with MAGA gear you get shit.

Grow a backbone, stand up for your beliefs.

Were the girls snowflakes?

more like when you show up a redskins-eagles game with a redskins jersey you get shit.

fedex is usually filled with the other teams fans. danny boy has made it so families can't go, and many season ticket holders sell half their tickets.

In interviews with BuzzFeed News, the Trump-supporting students from Union City High School in Pennsylvania said they were unaware Howard is a historically black college (or HBCU).

"No one asked us to take the hats off, no one told us the history of the college other than what year it was established in and who it was established by," Vandee said Tuesday.

But Eunissa Pullium, a 16-year-old student at Pennsylvania's Erie High — the other school on the trip — told BuzzFeed News the group's tour guide had informed the students Howard was an HBCU.

"Our tour guide told us it was an HBCU and everything and that's when we looked at what they were wearing and said, 'You can't wear that to a historically black college,'" said Pullium. "They just ignored it, like we didn’t say it at all."

Heh. The real "racism" here is the assumption that black people are apparently unable to contain themselves when someone wearing a MAGA hat is walking around.

All the teens were in DC on a Talent Search trip, a program funded by the Department of Education to give students from disadvantaged backgrounds "academic, career, and financial counseling", aimed at encouraging them to continue with their studies.

What a hateful thing to say.

Not really. Seems pretty accurate given the context. They are not aware of or interested in the world, per their own words - what's college for them?

I agree - the first PP is accurate in her assessment. These girls will not be going to college nor could they even get into college or they would not be trolling like this.

Or they could be like me who left a town similar to their Pennsylvania town and worked as a GS-2 in the government, took classes at the Dept of Agriculture and eventually ended up with an MBA and now run a department with 137 employees. Most of these employees were like many of you who were given college tours, applied to as many schools as they wanted, had tuitions paid by parents or grandparents, had the 6 months post graduate tour of Europe, got into a top graduate program, and now work for me.

So you trolled traditionally African-American colleges wearing Nazi hats?

If that is what you understood from my post, I strongly recommend that you ask your parents why they hated you do much that they didn't raise or educate you properly.

LOL! How do you know my mom?

I don't But as I suspected, you are a victim of divorce.

OMG YOU DO KNOW MY MOM?

No but your scream forvattention is often the sign of a troubled child with an addictive mother

So it's not surprising that white girls going to an HBU would be seeing as antagonizing people by wearing MAGA gear to HU. Out of respect to the f students of the university they were visiting, they should've kept her hat in her luggage or taking them off. Shame on the chaperones for not providing guidance to the girls.

To add, wearing MAGA hats to a HBU is similar to wearing a swastika to a private Jewish school. You need to be respectful. If you felt so important to keep your hat on, then you should've stayed in your hotel room for the Howard University trip.

MAGA hats is nothing to do with Nazi's and to assign that to Trump shows your ignorance. Whether those girls were there to get a reaction isn't even relevant. It's no different than someone wearing a Hillary or Obama hat. It's the brainwashing of the left and media who paints that falsehood. Either way, no one had the right to bother them or say anything. These kids are being taught this way, and to hate non black people. The real problem. Anyone should be able to go ANYWHERE with their political slogan or whatever. If you can't tolerate that FREEDOM get some therapy.

Except as we've seen from Charlottesville and elsewhere, MAGA hats are quite popular among Nazis. And denying that shows your ignorance.

What tho SE students did on HUs campus was inflammatory. Morally, that's just not right and should not ever be encouraged or condoned. They were not trying to bridge peace and understanding. Like many white racists in America, those trashy dumb trolls were there to spark negative controversy and spread hate.

I blame their parents. They were clearly raised very wrong, most likely by bigots, with no respect for people different from them.

This on so many levels.

Oh the privilege does not extend to Hu. This girls were very lucky to not be brought to tears.

This too kinda. Odds are only one was raised by a bigot. The other is just following and her parents are ashamed.

Give me a break. This is the kind of stupid false equivalence that gives Trumpkins the reputation they apparently deserve. There's no equivalence showing up at UDC with an Obama hat .... Now showing up at UDC with a MAGA hat highlighting the words that are dog whistles for "Make America White Again" and propagated by a man who is a bigoted racist is quite difference. You might not realize this, but I suspect you do and are just being obtuse.

You are the only one implying that.. There is zero difference between a Obama hat and a Maga hat except the former supports Obama and the latter Trump. Many other politicians including HRC have used that phrase, he simply put it on a hat. Frankly, given the antipathy he arouses he could have used "Give Peace a Chance" and I'm guessing some people would see an unsavory message. The only difference is that these girls are private citizens, whereas the UDC professors are teachers paid by the city. Imo they should keep their political leanings separate from their professional duties. I'm sure there is also guidance in their contracts on that, and if not there should be.

Are you for real? It's far worse for professors at a public school to be wearing an Obama hat on duty-possibly breaking the law. It was also during an election cycle. You can hear whatever whistles you choose, that's a choice. But both are hats in support of political leader, by the way both fairly elected by the American people . Private citizens can wear whatever they want. Public servants politicking Far Worse.

Far Worse indeed! Obama was Black! Is Black still Today I think? Terrible! Kenya! Democrats Are bad. MAGA
