this is the only place to admit it

If I voted, I'd vote for Trump. It'd be fun to shake things up a bit. I'd enjoy watching the political elite squirm, I really would.

I think Trump is more liberal than he's letting on - if you look at his history, and I'm secretly fascinated to see what a Trump presidency would look like. I'll most likely vote for Hillary though because although I dislike her personally and believe she's a brazen criminal, I think she's far more qualified and won't screw up as badly as Trump could.

Wow!! She has blood on her hands for Benghazi, emailed classified information on unauthorized servers to name a few big issues and you think she won't screw up?! Yikes

Embassy bombings and lost emails made Bush unqualified? Gwb43.Com ring a bell?

Funny. Ever notice when a conservative says something critical about Hillary, the liberals come out with something wrong a conservative did?

But the reverse sure doesn't apply. When libs spent 50 pages complaining about the dishonesty of candidate's spouse - not even the candidate himself - for copying a few lines from a speech, and what a liar Melania is, I pointed out how libs all of a sudden see "truth" as an important trait as they bend over backwards to defend lying Hillary. I asked how can you compare a few lifted phrases in a speech (from the SPOUSE) with Hillary's lies about protecting highly classified material, thereby turning over secrets to enemies? Wham: Don't deflect! We're tired of hearing about Hillary's emails! This isn't about Hillary!

More liberal hypocrisy.

Preserve you sanity. Just stop responding and pretty soon they'll be bickering with each other and there will be nothing left to see here. You can't argue with lunatics.

PP. Thanks - great advice. Otherwise another one of them might come back at me with a well-thought out, reasoned, and intelligent response - like calling me a buttwad (as above). Sort of reminds me of that concept about not "teaching a pig to sing." Over and out....have fun, liberals!

Yet you can't form a cogent argument. Really, when any liberal dares disagree with what conservative media has told you is the truth, you just start spewing the same insults. Look at your whole post. Then tell me why you don't actually ever have well-thought out, reasoned or intelligent responses. Just, "bah! typical liberal nonsense!"

Listen, I hate Trump. Mostly b/c he scares me and I think he is incredibly thin skinned. He literally ruins people who disagree with him. I have NO idea what the hell he stands for and definitely don't believe he is a good businessman.

I am not crazy about Hillary either. She's not going to set the world on fire, but she won't burn it down either.

So OP, why do you like Trump? How can you believe what he says since he was literally pro-choice and a democrat yesterday?

I think you have your candidates confused.

How? Per principles and democratic policies have not changed. Who the hell knows what he believes in.

Does she have blood on her hands. What about the CIA? Their employees clearly did not follow protocol. The only people I can imagine saying this are those who don't run anything. 2000 people work for me. Do you think I know everything that happens? I have to trust my team.

Does per mean Hillary? Because if so, there's some fact checking you need to do.

I'm pretty sure you're a troll and just trying to be provocative. But whatever. Have a nice day.

Yup.

Your reasons wouldn't justify well in this space? There are no reasons to vote for that man. I am no fan of Hillary's but his record as a human being leaves me with no choice here.

This thread is really depressing, especially to hear from other people that have responded that they also voted for Obama and will vote for Trump. People want to vote for Trump to "shake things up" when he's basically said he's going to let his VP dictate foreign and domestic policy. Yikes.

That's a bullshit response, and you know it. You "unload" on us and then don't provide any justification or details for why. Perhaps if more people like you shared your thoughts the rest of us would understand what the hell would drive someone to want to vote for Trump.

Not the OP but fairly common in DC. I am friends with many from all walks if life, mostly liberal. Conversations here often start with impassioned generalization and the blanket expectation of agreement. I'm too old to argue and its not a litmus test for me in friendships. I do listen, but I only share my views and speak frankly with my husband. It just feels sort of pointless if you trend towards conservative in DC. You get painted with one tedious and extreme paint brush. I'd like to hear more about OPs thinking though. I haven't made up my mind.

This has been my experience here in DC as well. Assumption I think is particularly strong if you are early career and female. I tend to forget that there are others with a diversity of opinion here.

Hipocrisy, double standards and name calling. That's all you'll get from liberals on this board.

That's because without double standards, they'd have no standards at all. How anyone could consider voting for Hillary Clinton simply boggles the mind. And Trump is just, to paraphrase O'Brian, the lesser of two weevils.

In the business world, it is a compliment to label something "disruptive."

Indeed. I was talking last night to my gay friends and they are all voting for Trump believe it or not. People tend to look deeper than just words. Trump has a gorgeous immigrant wife so it tells people more about his persona then lying Hilary.
