What's the creepiest/weirdest thing you've ever seen?

The kid must have liked it, because he licked his fingers. He then proceeded to try to lick the guy's fingers too. To be fair, the man was pretty clearly creeped out as well and immediately jerked his hand back and rebuked the kid, but it still left me cold.

I think I'm missing something. Why was this creepy?

I was just going to write the same thing. That kid probably is a very tactile, sensory kid who is a little immature. nothing really that weird about it at all.

No. It's weird. Not something you would expect a 10 year old kid to do.

The guy was probably in his 40's and very odd and his clothes looked very outdated. Not the typical customer for this particular scene. The girl with him looked like an older teenager with mental disabilities. Not severe disabilities, but noticeable that something was off. The creepy part was that she was very visibly pregnant. Like 7-9 months along. This guy would bring her in, they would sit at the bar and he would order her a lot of food and she would eat veraciously. He wouldn't eat. He would just have a coke or something. They wouldn't really talk to each other, and he did all the talking for her. Then they would leave. It always creeped me out because in my mind (and perhaps I'm wrong), I thought he was kind of taking advantage of this young woman with disabilities and got her pregnant. Then the next summer when I was working there again, I saw them again. She was pregnant again. Really bothered me.

this to me sounds like she was a kidnapping victim who had been with this guy for a long time by that point. I'm willing to bet I'm correct.

Top PP, what happened to the baby from the first pregnancy you saw? Did she have a baby with her and was pregnant again?

It sound as though the girl liked to eat. Maybe those were food babies?

He was in the back of the truck that carried the huge cube of stone, well restrained with chains, until the truck had a head on collision. I later read in the papers he died. I still have the image of his arms and head over the stone, he was alive and looked full of hope. Sad

I visited Salem with my Mom. The punishment for witches was piling stones atop a board while the person slowly suffocated (was crushed) underneath. We read a description of this happening to some poor, accused man. It haunted my mother for a very long time after that trip. Reading about the hope you saw in that man's eyes made that memory all the worse. Man!

The punishment for witches was hanging. Pressing (the stone thing) was an enhanced interrogation technique to try to get them to confess.

The man who died was Giles Corey. After he was arrested, he refused to enter a plea of guilty or not guilty and he refused to confess. He was pressed to death in an effort to get him to plead, but he refused. All he would say was "More weight." He was 81 years old.

To me, it sounds like a feeder fetishist and his date. There are some guys who get off on feeding very obese women until they are helpless.

We were like, "Oh, cool!" and then moved on with our conversation, but just a few seconds later, my friend said, "Hey, look, there's another one!" Indeed, there were two tiny pinpricks of light moving across the sky. What was weird was that they were next to each other in the sky, moving on a parallel course at the same exact speed. Then I saw a third satellite. Together, the three made a perfect equilateral triangle in the sky that covered a fairly large area.

"Wow, what are the odds of that?" we wondered. Then we realized that as the "satellites" passed overhead, they blacked out the stars in between them, implying that it was actually one huge triangular object in the sky. It was slow moving and totally silent. It freaked us the fuck out and we RAN inside. In retrospect, we lived next to an Air Force base and it was probably just some experimental aircraft, but it has haunted my thoughts since then. When the Internet got big, I Googled it and found that a lot of other people had seen the same thing.

Okay, so here's the creepiest part: I now live on the other side of the country in a rural area just outside DC. I'm in my thirties with kids of my own. About six months ago, my 11 year old, whom I had never told about any of this, came running into the house shouting "Mom, you'll never believe what I just saw!" He proceeded to describe the exact same thing we had seen that night, only it was in broad daylight in the middle of the afternoon.

Stealth bomber. You saw a stealth bomber, from the bottom.

It was WAY bigger than that, unless this thing was only 500 feet off the ground or something.

First PP, I guess it was technically a "UFO" but have you ever admitted to yourself that this is what you probably saw? When we lived in CA something sort of similar happened. Coastal town, we were having dinner on the patio. suddenly I look up and over the mountain range behind us I see 3 large bright lights in a triangular formation suddenly appear and they hovered for a good long while and then just retreated.

You should check out the National UFO Reporting Database.....http://www.nuforc.org/webreports/ndxloc.html

I actually made a report about this and one other incident (also from my teen years near the base) on that site a couple of years ago. And interestingly enough, both "sightings" were in coastal California (central coast, near Vandenberg AFB). I still think what I saw was military related and not otherworldly. Call me a skeptic.

Do you live near Andrews AFB now?

No. SW of DC, halfway to Charlottesville.

A few years back I was driving from San Diego to Los Angeles, and there's a stretch out there where the highway goes through Camp Pendelton. You are on a flat, but the ocean is a little ways off to your left, and the mountains to the right. It was daytime and clear out.

Out in the ocean, there was something just crazy. Something man-made but looked like out of a movie. All I could see was water roiling around in like--first imagine a water volcano, but then make it look more like a round cake shape. It was so intense and HUGE and surreal. I kept looking, then looking at the road, then looking again, to make sure I was seeing it. It must be some military thing but I have no idea what that was.

I know that area, its close to the San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant - was probably related to that.

I know exactly where I was on that drive, and I know where the power plant is, but I can't remember the drive well enough to know whether it was north or south of that power plant. It was not near the power plant. I was just north of where that south-bound rest stop is. Whether or not related to the power plant or the military base, what the hell was that? The whole sea looked like it boiling over--or like maybe some disk was hovering and pushing air down on the water to hover and creating massive water displacement?

There have been rumors of an underwater base entrance of some type in that area for a while. If you look at Google Earth imagery of that area and the area near Pt. Mugu, the underwater topography looks really strange.

Another hair incident. About 20 years ago at Tysons Corner, I was probably 17 years old, 2 women in full burqas came up to me and told me how beautiful my hair was. And then one of them touched my hair. It freaked me out because I could barely see their eyes because even their eyes were covered with black mesh.

Creepiest for me was when I was in the process of separating from my ex husband.

Ex had an addiction to looking up women on craigslist, but he was too stupid to cover his tracks. One time, he'd sent me a nude photo of himself without his ring on mistaking my email for another woman's. So, I told him it was over, pack your things, and move out. He was moving out, and I was out apartment shopping (looking for a cheaper place), and he sends me a text message like this, "hey this ex husband just broke into his wives apartment and she had to shoot him. you better be careful." Next day when I was leaving for work, my 15 year old car had been broken into. I had nothing of value in sight, but the cd player had been viciously ripped out. The cd player was something super cheap purchased at Walmart and the remote for it was left sitting in the center console. No other cars were broken into, just mine, and nothing else had been searched through. My ex denied it, but I knew it was him.

The topography looks really normal to me:

Can you all take that discussion of that area and ufo like sighting start your own thread? The other creepy weird stories are very interesting - that should be its own thread.

I'm the OP of the post about the old creep and young pregnant woman. The woman never seemed to be in distress or unhappy, but it was always my impression that she didn't know any better. There was something very childish about her, although she looked to be close to 20yo of I had to guess. I don't know what happened with the first pregnancy.

No. She was rather thin and had a very obvious pregnant belly. She was wearing maternity clothes.
