Spotted in Eastern Market DC today. Something just didn't feel right about it, looked at the gofundme, still didn't feel right, Googled, and now I've seen it all. |
Because no one calls the police on her. |
Get a real job Elyse. |
I also posted here, not out of malice or delusions, but of concern for the children. She can pan handle if she wishes alone. No need for those young kids standing around for hours. Children deserve to be in school and at play with friends to build social skills. The kids looked so sad standing there. At least they could have been across the street at the library. |
If you were concerned about the kids, I hope you called the police. She keeps pimping out her kids because people make it worth it. If everyone that posted here that they saw her, had instead called the police, perhaps she'd give up her scam when she could no longer profit. |
Report her to the websites she uses the scam for money. Don't fight with her online profile. Send the the newspaper articles and blog posts to the site administrators that she's "fake" homeless and scamming people for a decade. |
I did not know the story until several weeks after I saw her. She doesn't return to the same place every day so the police would not be able to respond. I have not seen her ever again. Besides, I doubt the police would do anything. She will just say she home schools and being poor and moving around is not a crime. I guess I hope shaming her will cause her to change her ways, for the sake of the children. After all, they won't be children forever, then what will they do? Those kids have a long life ahead of them. Not only do you only get one childhood, the kids will always be behind in life skills, social skills, education, etc. |
Lazy ass husband Jason Pancoast checking in? This is common decency. Hardworking people who have good hearts are fooled into handing over money to this couple who travel the Northeast asking for money. They have children who clearly are not in school. Yes, she is free to beg and lie about her child's needs so that she and her partner, Jason Pancoast, can continue to live free of the obligation to work and be productive members of society. And we are free to comment on the questionable ethics of this behavior, which is perhaps 15 years old and bicoastal, and to warn others to be wary and to give their money to the truly needy. |
I did report her over a year ago to her Gofundme site. She is still there and has scammed an additional $16,000 off of good hearted people.
Google Affluent Beggar. |
Just Jason checking in with his usual self-serving drivel. |
Do NOT give money to her. When you see her, call the police. Tell everyone you know about her, so they won't be scammed.
End of story. |
Jason Pancoast tweets as Kalish Jantzen. I have seen promoted tweets on his feed. I don't know how much $ he makes from the promoted tweets but I suspect he doesn't report it. Most of it RT. When I knew him in Texas he said he would never work. He is living his dream. Capitalism. Socialism. God. Atheist. Bombast. Drivel. Whatever excuse works. Scum enough to go around. |
Sadly these types of scams appear more and more often. |
Red states use more welfare than blue states so they shouldn't call a kettle black |
I'm confused --legal secretaries and building service workers are begging you for money? That seems really odd. |
