Does the child actually have cancer or is that part of the scam?
|
The child had cancer when she was 5 and recovered but was left with vision loss. The child is now 14. |
Apparently so when she was about 2 or 3. The surgery did result in at least partial vision loss. She's at least a teenager now, so I imagine she's been in remission. I would imagine this experience was difficult and did require follow up medical treatment, however, they were pan handling long b/f she was diagnosed though. What's really sad is I don't think any of the kids attend school. I wonder what will happen to her daughter as an adult. |
Did she come up to you and ask for money? I hate when people ambush me like that it parking garages. |
She was at lee Harrison shopping center tonight.... But I couldn't find the security guards to report her :-/. She was getting money from one of the construction workers though |
Sad, he probably needs it more than she does. |
She was at Harrison Street right outside Pie Tanzania! |
She is so well-known as a scammer who exploits her children. How is it that police haven't picked her up for questioning? Asking where the kids go to school would be a start. |
She's at the Old Town Alex WF on Duke Street this afternoon. I almost fell for it, but luckily did some googling before hitting the donation button. People like this really are the lowest: they make others skeptical and cynical and less likely to help out people truly in need. And her poor kids! She had two in tow and a baby strapped to her chest. |
She hit me up a month ago at WF in tennleytown. She should have seen I was struggling to walk even though I'm still youngish, and that I have my own health problems. I told her 'NO', I need financial help myself. I'm exhausted from being hounded from people like her, from neighbors in my apartment building, from secretaries at the law firm I was employed at, and the staff who work for my landlord. Why can't these people go to the organizations set up to help people like them? I know they make big money on the street, but it looks exhausting and no way to make a living, especially with children.

I'm the above poster. On second thought, I believe she saw me having difficulty walking, and thought I would be an easy target, so wrong. There was a woman that I would see at friendship heights who I gave money to because she said she needed to get something to eat. She had the look of hunger and desperation in her eyes. About 20 minutes later, she was nowhere in sight. I went to the McDonalds and there she was waving and smiling at me as she ate her meal. That is who I enjoy helping. I saw her a few more times and helped her out again. |
If you pathetic people knew the truth you'd be ashamed for framing these folks in the bigoted way you do. I guess y'all are oblivious the corruption controlling daily life in America. NOVA & DC are have the highest rates of child trafficking in the US. The disturbing reality of the local subcultures speak to the delusion & malice of those posting. Shameful. Go Watch TV. |

Wut. |
There's a skinny, short haired black woman with a red lanyard that always asks for money for "parking" in Old Town. The other day she asked me for $20.
Does anyone know what her deal is? She's been at it for YEARS up and down King Street. |
