Most state schools aren't as preppy as private ones. Miami of Ohio is a public school. Odd that it would be preppy.

Back in the 90s/early 00s, Miami was known as J Crew U because it was the zip code to receive the most J Crew packages (according to my many friends in the DC area who went there. Felt pretty preppy when I took my kid to visit last year.

It def feels preppy. And if you designed a place to make pampered rich folks comfortable, it would look just like Miami U.
