And to the bigot, nobody is reading your links. It's like the dingbat who posted the links to the Georgia CDC bestiality "scandal" elsewhere in this forum. And I have never called the masons "icky" or "yucky." I have nothing against masons or catholics - you should learn to be so tolerant.

Please, do yourself, and the rest of us, a favor and figure out what you're so angry at. Then you can maybe do something about it, and stop embarrassing yourself with your hateful rants on DCUM.

You gloss over the sex acts with a 6 year old. How convenient.

OMG, the bigot is the freak from the CDC thread! With the awesome links to bestiality and how flouride is killing us all! We've got your number now! Yay bigot!

Seems to me that you are a bigot. And mistaking many people for one person.

Bigot is a prejudiced person who is intolerant of any opinions differing from their own.

At that time, two clergy per week were being arrested in North America for sex crimes against children. Fifty-eight percent of them were Protestant. It is abhorrent no matter who is doing the abusing, but get your facts straight. It is not just a "Catholic" problem.

Sorry, you'll have to post a link. I can find nothing in numerous google searches that link to that info.

Go to the CDC thread and you'll see the types of sources she relies on, and what she does to science and facts.

I think the Catholic scandal wasn't so much the abuse but rather the coverups by the bishops, etc., and the supposed policy of having a treatment center in NM and then unleashing the 'cured' priests on the locals.

There are numerous studies that have been done. Just google sexual abuse protestant clergy and your will find it. The 2nd or 3rd cite will be to an AP release and a Huff Post article discussing why the protestants have gotten a pass.

I grew up Catholic and now I am an anti-Catholic household. Maybe OP would ban her DH from working or being friends with me. Really, the Catholic Church was built on lies, scandal, stealing, whore houses, and so on. If you are going to scandalize the Masons you need to be fair and look at the history of the Catholic Church. Inquisition? Crusades? Gays? Abortion?
Seriously. Glass houses, people.

I actually agree that the catholic church is wrong on gay rights and abortion. Where she turns into a bigot is where she starts in on the lies, scandal, stealing and whore houses. Unless somebody here thinks it's OK to say, I don't know, that all Republicans are whores because you disagree on tax policy.

Where did anyone say all catholics were whores or thieves? No one said that.

And just to clue you in, people were posting ridiculous links to Masonic Lucifer worshiping videos and crazy websites. That was okay with you, but posting a link to an anti-Catholic website it not okay with you? No freedom of speech for people if they have nothing nice to say about your Church, only against organizations you do not agree with.

I really do think you are talking to and calling multiple people "bigots". There are several people posting.

But again, please tell me what you know about the Protestant Reformation and the corruption of the Catholic Church at that time.

The years leading up to the Protestant Reformation were also plagued by moral corruption and abuse of position in the Roman Catholic Church. The priesthood was guilty of several abuses of privilege and responsibility, including simony (using one’s wealth or influence to purchase an ecclesiastical office), pluralism (holding multiple offices simultaneously) and absenteeism (the failure to reside in the parish where they were supposed to minister). The practice of celibacy which was imposed by the church on the priesthood was often abused or ignored, leading to immoral conduct on the part of the clergy. Secular-minded, ignorant priests corrupted their position by neglect or abuse of power.

But I guess siting things that are taught in most high school history classes or an intense college course makes me a bigot. This is common knowledge, not a random person spewing untruths.

The three companies that insure a majority of Protestant churches say they typically receive upward of 260 reports a year of children younger than 18 being sexually abused by members of the clergy, church staff members, volunteers or congregants.

The figures released to The Associated Press offer a glimpse into what has long been a difficult phenomenon to detail: the frequency of sexual abuse in Protestant congregations.

A bigot is somebody who can't just disagree with you -- they also tell you you're a member of a blood-thirsty, whore-mongering cult (as our very own bigot did several times). Like an anti-semite who doesn't just disagree with judaism on theological grounds -- but also resorts to crude stereotypes. Both are disgusting.

But if she's really the CDC poster, she's got an IQ of about 5.

Because you have interviewed every person out there who has been abused and has since died or not come forward? The Huff Po isn't the end all be all to sex abuse statistics.

Responding to heavy media scrutiny, the Catholic Church has reported that since 1950, 13,000 “credible accusations” have been brought against Catholic clerics (about 228 per year.) The fact that this number includes all credible accusations, not just those that have involved insurance companies, and still is less than the number of cases in Protestant churches reported by just three insurance companies

Just because you don't like the information doesn't mean it isn't out there.

Well, since I'm Jewish and my family is Catholic, by your logic I am neither anti-semite or anti-Catholic. Please point out where anyone, other than YOU, has called the Catholic Church a "blood thirsty religion" or brought up communion. I certainly have not. Through out the middle ages Popes did indeed have whore houses, I am not sure why you take offense to that. Again, it does not make me a bigot. It is something called historical fact. It is written history. The church even acknowledges. You are freaking out about hearing it and spinning my words, but the fact is, at one point, Popes slept with whores. They moved passed that and no longer so. Get over it. They are no longer a whore mongering cult (your words, not mine). Blood thirsty, your words, not mine.

But you are ignorant and really into name calling, taunting, hate speech,

Oh for god's sake. I'm not catholic, and it is not OK with me that people insult masons, and I've criticized the mason insulters as well. And your post about the church being founded on whore houses (not the way you twisted my words to say all catholics are whores) has been copied a few times here, so go back and read it - after all, you wrote it yourself.

And read up on Luther or something if you want to sound intelligent about the protestant reformation. Not that the paragraph you cut and pasted from one of your wacko sites was wrong, but most of us protestants here (including me) are way beyond needing to have "simony" defined for us. Also it's "citing" not "siting," so you really do look like an idiot.

But yeah, you're the CDC poster, and nothing you say is credible. I'm not wasting time with you, I'll leave you to the other poster(s) here who also seem to think you're an idiot. Have a good night.

Has nothing to do with whether or not I like the information. It's sad and upsetting any child is abused. My only point was that there are probably many who were abused that have died or have no reported the abuse.

this and "siting" - did you get "past" high school? A lot of your posts are becoming really clear in light of the CDC link and your misuse of big words.

So you pick one thing in a sequence of what I wrote and pick on it over and over and over again.... Now point out to me where I called the Church a blood thirsty cult. One person took ONE thing I said out of a sequence of items and used it to call me a bigot. Have any of you ever read the actual political or non-religious history of the Catholic Church? If not, I would think twice before calling me names and putting words into my mouth. I never once called the church cultish, never once said anything about communion, never said half the things you wackos are accusing me of.

But again, we can call the Masons names and post degrading information on them, but now way, not the Catholic Church.
