Why are younger women so left wing?

Do you think this is some kind of own? Yes, you subscribe to a traditional patriarchal view of what a woman should be, thus you find the women who also subscribe to that point of view and who find success under our current system that values women for their appearance and usefulness as an attractive appliance more appealing.

The women who reject this framing of womanhood are less satisfied under the current system, and you find their rejection of a system you enjoy unattractive. But here's the thing. None of those women give a flying f*ck what you think. That's the beauty of not being a bobblehead.

Look at Christianity, whole theme of sex abuse and cover up. Just recently, a whole new exposure of abuse in the Assemblies of God church published a couple months ago, similar to that of the Catholic church. Some men with serious Christian beliefs seem prone to enjoy subjugating others. It is definitely repulsive.

Men in power have always sexually exploited the vulnerable.

What is rare is the social constraints where this behavior is widely condemned.

Sure. But many of our institutions were created to give men access to money power and influence. Religion is not different. And people are seeing it for what it is these days. So many people claim a peaceful religion, have no authentic relationship with their religion, but use association with that religion to judge and control the behaviors of others. (Most of you proclaimed Christians could not quote a single Bible verse, let alone tell me the last time you opened a Bible to study it.) And the men running said institutions are still using them to enrich themselves and have easy access to people/children they can sexually exploit.

Powerful men almost always set up institutions to enrich themselves and their tribe, this is true.

But some do not. Tale a look at why some societies and institutions have protected the vulnerable at no benefit or enrichment to themselves and let us know what you find.

The good people have always come out ahead of the bad people in the long run since the beginning of time. If not, all the people on Earth would be oppressed under one centralized Government run by thugs.

Good people always come out ahead? I’m sure the Jews in 1940, Aztecs in 1400s, Bohemians in 1618, Hong Kongers in 1997, and Gauls in 58 BC would beg to differ.

Or good people always come out ahead because the US is currently the world’s reigning superpower and you think your group (whatever that is) will retain power forever because they are “good”?

Who gets to define the characteristics of good people vs bad people?

What about all of the bad people over the course of history who have been wildly successful?

I don't attend religious services at all. I don't believe in God but I share pp's feelings about caring for vulnerable groups outside my family.

So being filled with God's love and following Jesus' teaching makes one less likely to care about vulnerable populations? Hm.

The loss of religiosity has pushed people to be more emotionally attached to their political beliefs.

This is true for both sexes and both political parties.

Women are just more inclined to choose Democrats because they emphasize caring for the “oppressed” which a very feminine instinct; although statistically religious women of all races tend to be less Democratic leaning. Clearly they do exist however as the PP opined.

I'm afraid that religious women are being mischaracterized as fundamentalist. The fundamentalists tend to be Republican, but the other religious women can be members of either party

In the aggregate, I think this is pretty spot on. I think both young men and women are frustrated. The men become bitter and withdrawn and escape into the manosphere. The women get defensive and cling to grievance politics and self righteousness. It’s all sad. The men are giving up a purposeful life for a childlike life of video games and stupid pleasures. And the women are giving up a purposeful life so they can be a childless self righteous director of marketing somewhere. I imagine this is what the boomers had in mind during their cultural revolution.

What a cynical outlook this is.

The unpalatable truth is that women who want to bear children and raise them with the child’s biological father needs to care about being sexually attractive to a certain extent.
