Why are modern day billionaires narcissistic sociopaths?

They just laid off a lot of people (engineering, software, retail), for starters, right before Christmas.

Amazon recorded $60 BILLION in profits. They then threw to the curb 30,000 employees in corporate jobs according to google.

There ought to be repercussion for that level of inhumanity towards your employees. If the public is going after Target for their stance on LGBQT issues, a fairly narrow percentage of the population, how about going after predatory corporations that drive mom and pop stores out of business while exploiting and abusing their employees?

You think Amazon should employ them if they have no productive work for them?

What the hell is the matter with you? Is Amazon a jobs program?

What the hell is the matter with YOU? Bezos rented Venice Italy for his wedding for who knows how much money, showing zero regard for his employees when he canned them right before Christmas.

This. The wealthy donated money to reduce taxes and buy clout. They poured funding into institutions with their names on it. In return, they were able to reduce their taxes and get “credit”. There’s no motivation to donate when they can keep everything.

We need Warren's wealth tax and some additional brackets at the top. Along with changes to what corporations are able to give out as compensation.

For starters, calling any tax increase a "wealth tax" isn't going to work in a modern day political climate dominated by wealthy mega-donors. This is why politicians like Sanders and Warren don't have a chance when seeking powerful positions within our Federal Government. They have to play nice with money or else they're kicked to the curb by our major political parties.
