Remember, cops are GOVERNMENT WORKERS. If they police citizens in a racist manner, your jurisdiction will end up paying out in lawsuits and your taxes go up.

I am glad the site is being restored to a normal street. The effect of the lettering was ugly, nobody ever visited it, the lights were unsightly (and several broken) and the traffic flow was messed-up. We also need parking. It added nothing to our city.

It wasn’t exactly my cup of tea, but didn’t the plaza become a fairly big tourist attraction?

The new DOT head doesn’t like street murals in general so I wonder if this puts the entire street mural project in jeopardy under the guise of road safety.
