I asked this earlier. Can’t find anything on google either. Seems like maybe never? Not even a trial attorney?

There’s no evidence he was ever a trial attorney and he was never a prosecutor. He worked at a law firm for a short while before running for the Florida House as a nepo baby.

They appreciate the sentiment. DOJ atttoneys are tough. They aren’t going to stand down without a show.

A made for tv drama, as we have been experiencing for close to a decade now. That’s what they excel at. G-d help us all. America comes in a distant second to their shows. Nothing like dooming us all because America voted for a republican and that’s completely unacceptable, how dare they! Democrats own DC, they own the presidency, they own the vote. Fugging rubes, they can’t be trusted to vote the way they are supposed to: for democrats. So get those scripts written, give the actors their lines. Get the stories in place. The show must go on.

You simply don’t get it, do you? Voting for a Republican is not wrong. Nobody wants a one-party system because that would not be a democracy. We need two healthy, functioning, political parties. The problem is the GoP is in thrall to a crazy narcissist who cares only about himself. We’re not opposed to Trump because he is the Republican nominee – – we’re opposed to him because he’s Trump.

We have to vote for the “right” kind of republican.

Are you sure about that?

Yes, the kind that believes in democracy.

Never! He only “practiced” for 1.5 years. This is not a pick that was made because he would do a good job running DOJ. He doesn’t have the first clue. This is a pick because he’s going to do exactly what Trump wants him to do.

This is so embarrassing for our country.

And for the 76 million Americans who voted for this outcome.

The 72 million Americans who voted against this outcome knew this would happen. We were right. But we don't care about that anymore. We just want to have a country left to care about in 4 years.

He’s flooding the zone with sh|t.

“The Gaetz pick for DOJ is so shocking, it deflects attention from other nominations of unqualified nominees—eg Tulsi Gabbard at DNI, Pete Hegseth at DOD—and makes it more likely one or both get confirmed. On the theory that a GOP Senate won’t have the stomach for too many fights with Trump.”

Are Rs going to lose their majorities if he keeps taking people from Congress for his administration?
