No. NP. I was pretty sure Youngkin would win. But that was an odd outlier. It was more that McAwful lost the race than Youngkin won. McAwful was not well liked after his first term. And then he talked down the the “suburban mommies” who were upset about school closings with COVID. He has zero to say about school reopening, dealing with mental health and learning loss fallout from COVID,,etc. he just rolled his eyes and patted the mommies of NOVA on the head. We were furious. Also, Youngkin passed himself off as stable, moderate dad, so he was kinda palatable to NOBA soccer moms. Trump can’t do that. |

Yeah, Trump's campaign managers trying to distance Trump for all the disastrous proposals in Project 2025 hasn't worked. You wanna know why? And the people who wrote Project 2025 are many of the same people who worked on Trump's 2016 Transition Team, with sections authored by numerous Trump officials. Sorry but the veil of plausible deniability is far too small to cover it. Trump's people are all over Project 2025. |
