Smart move. Swing VA red and start the celebration earlier in the evening. While the DCUM bubble is blue much of the rest of VA is not. Will be interesting to see how big the Trump lead is before Fairfax County numbers drop. Over the past couple of years many more conservative people have left Fairfax County for southern VA.

Will be an interesting night. Half the country happy and half sad sometime next week.

It will be i”nteresting” but I think half the county sad and half happy will only play out if trump wins. If trump loses his base can’t express sadness they will be stark raving mad and start dismantling the election system.

Nate and 538. But that was only 1 poll from VCU, following a H+10 Morning Consult. They were extreme outliers. Everyone else had H +3-8, but no one cares about polling VA because everyone saw Harris”s large lead and stopped wasting money on polling.

Even Rasmussen and the other R biased pollsters couldn’t push their numbers past H+2

But don’t expect a MAGA to understand polls, or math, or anything else.

Youngkin caught lightning in a bottle or an inside straight by threading the needle on CRT/lockdowns in Fairfax County/COVID madness. Yeah, it can happen. But with abortion on the line and the Feds potentially incurring mass layoffs in Project 2025, I highly doubt it'll be competitive.

Biden won Virginia by 10 points, and other than the Youngkin blip, VA has not elected a Republican in a statewide election since 2009.
