Zionists who unconditionally support Israel’s policies and actions (including those for whom widespread atrocities are not a deal breaker) actually believe that this unprecedented period of institutionalized corruption in favor of their interests will last forever. It began with the British control of the region. During the Ottoman Era, Jews and Palestinians were not even a thing. The land was called "The Holy Land" and that was that. The idea of renaming, redistricting, and earmarking land based on ethnicity or religion came from the British. They did this with India and Pakistan as well. The Brits as always caused much of the problems around the world and used their own religious divide with the Irish as their perspective when partitioning out other countries.

For those that missed it in the turkey haze:

Israel peppered western Syria with attacks for a few weeks to set the stage, then a bunch of Syrian communication devices exploded.

Turkey opened its border with Syria to allow a bunch of foreign fighters to flood into Syria.

"Moderate terrorist" groups then began a large scale offensive. These "moderate terrorists" were supported by Ukrainian trained and lead units, particularly with drone warfare. They also seemed to drape Turkish flags and flash Turkish cash wherever they appear. The Syrian army does more running than fighting.

The US puts out a weird press release calling the terrorists terrorists, while condemning Assad for not negotiating with them and stating very suspiciously that the US had nothing to do with the attack.

Russia bombs the terrorists and sends a bunch of troops and equipment to support Syria.

Iraqi troops are heading towards Syria to support Assad. Kurdish troops are fighting the "moderate terrorists" in the north currently.

At this point most of the fighters in Syria are not even Syrian, giving this a very global character. We'll see if the intensity continues to ramp up to "real" world war levels, or if this will remain more a Spanish Civil war level conflict.

Israel and Palestine have not been fighting for even 100 years. It's only since Israel existed post WW2 that the ME coincidentally is in peril much like war torn Europe pre-WW2. Wonder why?
