Michelle Obama selling her new juice drink at Costco

Because you like the taste, need it, or because you like Michelle?

Simple. Seems like a better alternative to other similar drinks, and yes, because Michelle. Mind you I haven’t tried it yet, just curious.

I have no problem with a former First Lady doing her own thing. Why not? She is free to use her name and popularity as she wishes. Bringing class in all this is so stupid. Would they say Marjorie Merriweather Post is low class because Jell-O?

Exactly, it’s both.

Tacky, trashy, low class.

She was the first lady of the USA. That isn’t “low class” by any definition of the word. Your use of class as an insult is truly tacky.

A former First Lady shilling “healthy” Kool-Aid at Costco next to the $1.50 hot dog stand is low class.

Talk about elitist.

Talk about double standards

I shop at costco myself.

I can’t wait to see Laura Bush hawking her artisanal line of beef jerky at the Piggly Wiggly next week!

Word on the street is Hilary is in negotiations to do a collab with Melania on a limited run of thongs under a special brand, “The other woman.”

Those of you complaining about it are concern trolling. You KNOW your own side is peddling crap that's far worse. We ALL know it, and know just how disingenuous you are about this whole thing.

We don’t want to be pedaled anything

You Republicans peddle 64 ounce Big Gulps filled with chemicals and high fructose corn syrup. You have no place criticizing anyone else about nutrition. None, whatsoever.

Wrong; Republicans peddle the idea that people can buy and drink 64 ounce Big Gulps if that’s what they want to consume.

Michelle is peddling a dubious drink aimed at children for her own profit. She’s making money off of the drinks. (Which are being sold online, in stores, and apparently at least one health system is buying and offering to their employees and patients.) SNAP can buy her drinks too!

Republicans saying that Americans can purchase Big Gulps, who makes money off that? 7-11 owners- are 7-11 owners heavily republican? Does Trump secretly own 7-11s?

Big Soda is already a gigantic beneficiary of gov/taxpayer money via the EBT program; Big Soda loves that their products are bought with food assistance dollars.

So quit with the Big Gulp comparison because it’s not working.

If our saviors the democrats didn’t want people to drink soda, they’d take it off the list of foods and drink able to be bought with food stamp dollars.

No, no, no, no. Michelle Obama suggested that kids should be eating healthier foods for their school lunches, and was absolutely REVILED for it as if she was asking kids to eat poison. The 64 ounce Big Gulp was Sarah Palin's direct protest to Michelle Obama during the following CPAC conference, essentially suggesting parents and schools should be allowed to serve kids 64 ounces of chemicals and HFC, because "freedumb!!!"

You are WAY off on all of this, DO NOT tell me "quit" and "it's not working." People like you are the reason America's kids are unhealthy, unfit and facing an obesity epidemic and YOU FOR DAMN SURE ARE NOT THE ONES WITH THE ANSWERS.

She could have sold anything. This was an odd choice.

Stop it hyperbole Democrat lady.

This juice she is peddling is no different from soda, same shit. Very disappointed in Michelle.

Cos juice is something only low class gives their kids. Does not matter how rich you are.

Garbage, like all fruit juice is. Fructose is one of the worst sugars to eat, straight to fat and fatty liver.

The only "healthy" claim they have is it doesn't have HFCS. Big woop.

"Now will a little less bad stuff for you!"

PLEZi contains the following ingredients:

Soluble vegetable fiber

Apple juice with corn fiber. Yum.

"Soluble vegetable fiber" is sketchy vague sounding, as that could include recycled wood pulp. Soylent Brown?

No, wood pulp is cellulose which is not soluble fiber. Fructose is also the sugar found in vegetables.
But I don't spend money on beverages unless I get a bottle of water at a gas station while traveling, and once in awhile I'll buy a root beer when I'm doing a lot of errands, as a treat, and coffee I make at home. But fruit and vegetables are best eaten rather than drunk.

Exactly this is well known by now. Michelle not keeping up with the studies.

This would give me stomach pain and tons of gas. These added fibers are awful. It’s in all the diet stuff and things like Ollipop.

The blueberry was not a good flavor for my kids, and we decided to try the orange.

These are the ingredients:

WATER, APPLE JUICE CONCENTRATE, SUGAR, MALTODEXTRIN, CITRIC ACID, WATERMELON JUICE CONCENTRATE, POTASSIUM CITRATE, ASCORBIC ACID, ORANGE JUICE CONCENTRATE, MAGNESIUM LACTATE, GUM ARABIC, NATURAL FLAVOR, STEVIA REBAUDIANA LEAF EXTRACT, GLYCEROL ESTER OF WOOD ROSIN, BETA-APO-8’-CAROTENOL (COLOR), ZINC OXIDE.
CAFFEINE CONTENT 0MG.

The second ingredient is sugar. We know ingredients are listed in the order they are most prevalent in the product, so it’s full of sugar.

We won’t be drinking it. We will donate it to the food pantry.

What are you blathering on about? Who is peddling Big Gulps? Idiot.

Of course it would! Now, how many people do you know —including kids — who only drink plain water when they’re thirsty?

Mine? Or sometimes OJ. Why is that so hard to believe that many kids have no desire for this fake crap?
