So now she’s selling a “workbook?” What are her qualifications to write and sell a workbook, for adult women?

Her hair looks ghastly.

“Bringing former First Lady Michelle Obama’s timeless advice to readers in a fresh, interactive, and instructional new format, Overcoming: A Workbook presents creative activities, reflective writing prompts, habit tracking tools, and more to provide the ultimate guide to unlocking your small power, sharing your whole self, showing up in relationships, and of course, “going high.” With her signature candor and warmth, Obama draws on her experiences to offer readers the tools and principles she has leaned on to overcome difficulties in all areas of life.

This beautiful and interactive workbook is Obama’s call to pay attention to how you’re feeling, notice what’s being signaled by both your body and your mind, as well as her reminder to us all that it’s okay to pace yourself, get a little rest, and speak of your struggles out loud. It’s okay to prioritize your wellness, to make a habit of rest and repair.“

It’s out Dec 3rd if anyone wants it, and there is a website online to preorder it.

She certainly lives rent-free in your head.

Olipop is a prebiotic soda; Plezi is a fruit drink with marketed to children.

I complain about Olipop. Someone insisted I try it, and it is absolutely ghastly. As with most "substitutes," I'd rather drink the real thing rather than some manufactured product that is bad for your kidneys.

I dislike Olipop. I would rather drink water. Plezi however is marketed directly as a healthy children’s drink.

To be fair, she wasn't making bank on that as she is on this.

Of course…when it’s time to make money, standards? Huh? Oh, you mean my money? That’s the standard.

No current or former American politician or family member of an American politician is doing anything known to the public without there being a price tag involved in some shape or form. It's all they know. I love the Obamas and wish them success in any of their endeavors.

Not true of the Carters. The only outliers.

She’s a public figure. She’s not a saint.
She’s a greedy person for the drink venture; her memoir was a better endeavor.

I voted for him twice but you’re the kind or “reasonable” woman who would let either of them take a dump on your head and present it as a good thing. Okay!

Jimmy Carter and George W Bush are the good ex-presidents. The Obamas own homes in Kalorama, Martha's Vineyard, Hyde Park, and Oahu. They don't need to slum it to sell sugar water. The Obamas are very Trump-Like with their crassness. It's pathetic and it's a shame. Hope was their thing. Greed is their reality.

You seem confused. The issue is the very pointed marketing of a sugary drink TO CHILDREN.

Hon, maybe you`ve been living under a rock your whole life - sugary drinks have been marketed to kids for decades. What Michelle Obama is marketing is actually much healthier than what kids have been drinking.

Money-hungry Obamas. Desperate and thirsty for a buck. Low and sad.

Of course it would! Now, how many people do you know —including kids — who only drink plain water when they’re thirsty?

Mine? Or sometimes OJ. Why is that so hard to believe that many kids have no desire for this fake crap?
DP

After every soccer game, basketball game and baseball game, the parent that was responsible for snacks provided juicy juice, water and Hawaiian Punch along with a small bag of chips or Cheetos. So yeah, kids, including athletic kids, drink sugar padded drinks. 7-11 was a major stop for a slurpee on the way from school. Or perhaps it’s just city kids who drink sugary drinks. I have no clue what the kids in the burbs and exurbs drink. You say they only drink water. Cool.

You’re such a maniac. DP, I live in NYC, DC plays sports, and nope! The idea that the majority of kids are slamming Cokes after practice is just a lie.

Michelle Obama is a human, not a goddess. And this move is tacky AF. No one who interviewed her for the Becoming book tour like Sarah Jessica Parker or other “strivers” would buy this poorly-reviewed sh!t in a cab for their own kids. Michelle herself would never have purchased this crap for her kids. She’s now a snob selling garbage to poorer kids and the SNAP/EBT twist is vile.

This drink would not be on offer at my DCs city public elementary. Michelle is not a hero for having the gall to do this cash grab when her incredible success as a writer has made her rich. No one who is not some rimjob proficient liar seriously thinks Michelle Obama’s drink brand is saving a single minor from type 2 diabetes. Gross, gross, gross.

She’s a grubby one these days and I will comment on it all day long. I’m sick of Democratic idiots like you insisting oh oh if only she’d run for President oh it would be so great. Yeah, no She and her husband are not serious people on any level anymore and yet she’s the marquee speaker at our convention, and calling her tacky a$$ tacky is wrong, and she’s above reproach for selling crap she would have never given her own daughters? Nope.

She’s tacky. Deal.

Obama is doing well repackaging her memoir to her psychotic adult ladyfans. That’s fine! The drink stuff targeting kids and the SNAP carve out is absolutely vile.

I have zero respect for Michelle doing this BECAUSE she is gracious and glamorous. She’s the one Melania plagiarized from. Michelle is the one who greeted Melania at the WH when her tacky boar nasty husband ignored her after his inaugural speech. So, no. Michelle being dead wrong for this does not make Melania right about a damned thing.
