Well it isn't just big cities that fall into corrupt hands. There are plenty of smaller city mayors and county commissioners that identify as Republicans and Democrats. It doesn't matter if it's Federal, State, or local politicians, those looking to buy influence know that there is an opportunity with any politician carrying an R or D next to their names. |
I remember this happening to Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) the minute he went against the democratic party on unfettered illegal immigration. Suddenly, indictments of bribery and money laundering popped up against him. Do you condone this, because fortunes may start changing in the other direction? |
| Eric Adams's mistake was that she should have been a Republican Trump guy. Nobody seems to care when Trump's guys take bribes or secretly work with foreign governments in violation of the Logan Act. |
I figured people are dissatisfied with him and will vote him out next election. The rat problem is no better and that should have been one of his main priorities. I have a family member who works in a private club / restaurant and his staff would come in quite often for meetings. |

If NYC Democrats weren’t such a cult, they’d have the safest city in America today. Eric Adams’ opponent was Curtis Sliwa, founder of the international Guardian Angels organization. Sliwa has dedicated his entire life to tirelessly making NYC a better place. He’s walked his talk every step of the way. Why are Democrats constantly digging their own grave? |
| Not sure if there's a new thread on this. But the interim AG for SDNY resigned rather than agree to drop charges against Adams. A bold act of defiance against Trump and Bondi! We need more of this kind of protest from within the Republican party. |

One Republican with ethics. US attorney in NYC resigns rather than dismiss charges against NY Mayor who is as corrupt as Trump and Musk and now working with them!

+1. She is a hero. Republicans with a conscience, take note. |
One out of how many millions? Still, it's a start! |

I know of one US Attorney's office that was told to stand down on prosecuting a mayor when they had him dead to rights on corruption. Political issues. |
