They shouldn’t. They should stay fast to their ideals and go work for non profits and organizations that actually help the Palestinian people and global humanitarian causes.

But see the hand wringing and back pedaling of some of these orgs once CEOs announced they won’t be hiring them.

Sure, and using financial power to silence the voices of American citizens is now the goal of Israel? For a community that is truly smart and accomplished, why do they believe in this sort of oppression? If not for this sort of oppressive tactics a lot more people would support Israel’s cause and response.

You have an odd definition of oppression. No one is obligated to hire someone who celebrates murder and terrorism. Same for no one is obligated to hire someone who is racist.

Btw noone is silencing anyone. These terrorist sympathizers are free to voice their opinions. This is more than in other countries where you will be killed or murdered.

I guess all Universities, employers etc need to publish if they want complete allegiance to Israel. I am not talking “Hamas is bad and should be destroyed but let’s not commit mass genocide” variety of allegiance, I think the requirement is that you should support Israel no matter what, even if they kill 2 million civilians to achieve their revenge. The oppression of American citizens is astounding, we are not free but slaves to wealthy oligarchs telling us what to do or say.

Nah, a simple "don't be a moronic douche on social media" will work.

Few of them actually will though. Gotta pay for that Hamptons house, country club, and kids private school somehow!

Some of us do, though. More than you apparently realize. No house in Sag Harbor, no country clubs, but the kids get what they need. It’s a different set of measuring sticks. We’re good.

As has been explained countless times, freedom of speech means freedom from government infringement on that speech. It doesn't mean freedom from consequences by private individuals and entities. Scary how many people are confused about this.

The students are anti-Zionist, not anti-Semitic.

Then for people like you shouldn’t care whether elite firms want to hire or not.

Hedge funds are not hiring unconnected graduates. These firms will make a big deal of saying they will not hiring a non Jews but they will hire the same people they always do.

If you’re “exhilarated” at the massacre of Jewish children, you’ve crossed over into antisemitism.

Its just another stupid social media bandwagon, no different than any other. This one just happened to bite them in the a$$.

You sure are “exhilarated” at the massacre of 500 Palestinians women and children in a hospital no less. What have you crossed over into?

No one has celebrated that. Those women and children were killed by their own people. You have lost the plot.

NP and what about the 1000 children killed by having 6000 bombs dropped on them and being denied food and water?

It’s a funny thing: People like me often care quite a lot about things that happen to people other than ourselves. People like you probably don’t get that.
