VA Democratic House candidate performed sex acts online for tips

Anonymous
People said the rumors about the Herndon double homicide could not possibly be true, it seems this hotwife lifestyle is more popular than many of us would have guessed.

VA is for lovers, I guess?

I agree with all that but this woman has clearly demonstrated a serious lack of good judgment so I wouldn't trust her to represent me on a state level or probably any level.

This. Those poor kids! Can you imagine going to school?!!!

The law school is ranked in the bottom 25%, so, take SuperLawyer with a huge grain of salt.

It's possible to go to a sh*tty law school and turn out to be a good lawyer.

They aren't mutually exclusive.

Huh?

I’m pretty liberal, but how could this not have been discovered in a vetting process. How could this woman not think this wouldn’t be discovered. And why is this candidate the best the Democratic Party could come up with? This is pathetic. If she wants to live stream her stuff, whatever, but don’t cry foul when people find it. I would have such a hard time voting for someone so stupid.

It's likely not a matter of "dumb" but having a public humiliation FETISH.

SO TRUE. It has now become okay to sell yourself for money.

I don’t care what consenting adults do in their bedroom, if they film it, if they stream it for money, if they partner swap, whatever. But if you run for public office you’re agreeing to be on a public platform and have your life be scrutinized. It’s part of the job. So if she felt so strongly about women’s health and other issues, did she ever just think maybe those videos might jeopardize my candidacy, cost me votes, hurt my chances and hurt my party?!

I don’t GAF that she’s done some weird stuff if she was my NP, but as an elected official she’s subject to bribes, blackmail, etc and this kind of stuff wouldn’t pass any security clearance (I’ve been a reference for people, I know what they ask and want to find out) and just puts her at risk. At the very least get ahead of it and say “yeah, I’m in a happy marriage and we have a sex life. That’s all” instead of playing some victim here.

Youngkin wants a 15 week ban, this is longer than even Europe, odd that we are so abortion happy in the US

In most European countries, abortion is generally permitted within a term limit below fetal viability (e.g. 12 weeks in Germany and Italy, or 14 weeks in France and Spain).

Those European countries still allow full access to abortion up to birth for health of the mother, fetal abnormalities, rape, incest, or even the mental health of the mother.

So yeah, it's not the same as Texas or Ohio.

That is not technically correct, in law or in practice, as far as the named European countries.

In the vast majority of pregnancies in Germany, for example, the prohibition is applied, and abortions are not permitted outside those time frames. In Germany especially, people follow the law and understand you cannot wait beyond 12 weeks and expect an abortion on demand. After 12 weeks, it is your fault for waiting such a long time.

You also need to stop citing exceedingly rare exceptions here. Even pre-Roe in the USA, there were medical abortions performed in hospitals under some of the rare circumstances you claimed, including “mental distress of the mother.” Do your research; it happened.

But we are getting way off the topic of the candidate’s online fundraiser (which appears to have been quite legal).

She and her husband self published these videos and considering both are highly educated (including him being a lawyer FFS) they have no leg to stand on claiming that these videos were “private”. This isn’t a case of their computer or phones being hacked.

Think of actual sex crime victims. She isn’t one of them and this is what upsets me the most. Not that she’s a freak in the sheets or an exhibitionist. That she claims what happens to her puts her in the same category as a r@PE victim (like that poor girl at LSU or the Jane Does in the Masterson trial or the millions of other women and men who never report it). Not the same, at all.

Agree, it's horrible to try to avoid consequences of her actions and it does a huge disservice to ACTUAL sex crime victims.

He is a family lawyer; can you imagine him on the other side in your custody case if you had legit safety concerns?

Go live in Europe if you want their abortion laws.

15w is not acceptable for many reasons.

The majority of Americans disagree with you, and that's why you see voters in states like KS and MI and WI ratifying keeping abortion legal in the state Constitution.

Even the R party is now trying to rebrand itself as "Pro-woman" and 'pro-baby" because their "pro-life" image isn't cutting it.

Incorrect.

Re: SCOTUS overturning RvW:
Nearly six-in-ten adults (57%) disapprove of the court’s sweeping decision, including 43% who strongly disapprove.

The survey finds that a majority of adults nationally (62%) say abortion should be legal in all or most cases.

Women don’t have the anatomy scan until 20w. 15w doesn’t work.

Youngkin said he’d sign whatever comes to him.

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. It's a good thing we didn't run to the abortionist when we got a bad ultrasound result for #2. It cleared up 4 weeks later.

Not all abnormalities “clear up”.
