What ever happened to the Bullis news that was supposed to be coming after NHSLS?

Can you shed some light here?

IDK is Bellestri filling the vacancy at PVI? That would be news.

PVI Head coach stepped down, this is news to me?

Bellistri lives next to Bullis campus and has a cushy gig at Bullis (rightfully so given his tenure there). Zero chance he would make the daily commute from Potomac to South Riding VA this late in his career.

PVI Head Coach stepped down. Fact and a new coach will be leading the Panthers in the Spring 2024.

Bellistri will coach Bullis until he no longer wants to or is asked to move on. They do have a vacancy to fill with the departure of Coach Crow who was alum.

Let the speculation begin?

Why did Lee depart ways with PVI?

He was only there for 2 seasons?

Beat Gonzaga twice and won the VISSA last season.

PVI job should have gone to Micheal Mabry from the start.

So what is left to prove? SJC owns the WCAC and VISSA is good but not the WCAC which should be the goal for any team in the conference.

Didn't they graduate a huge class?

I have always thought the VA privates are in a weird situation as they compete in two different conferences.

Top to bottom the VISSA is a better lacrosse conference than the WCAC as a whole.

Mabry is great at what he does, and he may eventually be able to run a program, but couldn’t back then and probably to still to green to do it.

A program like PVI requires full time effort/commitment to be successful. Experience is the only way to get the tools needed.

bring back bob waters for a year! he basically built the program from nothing into the regional power it is today!

Posters here are funny. Unlike SJC, PVI does not pay a full time coach it is mostly a volunteer thing just like being a public school coach. The coach that built the program retired. They are not going to have coaches knocking down the door to put up with crazy parents for little to no money.

agree.

The former PVI Coach was basically retired and had a successful career of his own and was basically coaching lacrosse for fun and for the love of the game.

Every IAC Head Coach works in the building.
Casey worked in the building for his career at Gonzaga and look what happened once the head coach wasn’t in the building.
