Asian parents would pay first class for everyone |
Why? Most of us travel as a family. |
What’s rude about it? |
Why is it rude? |
| Just make sure your son Kevin is accounted for before the adults go to their first-class seats. |
He’ll be fine home alone. He’s a clever boy. |

Kids and grandparents together in 1st.
Parents in coach, or pay for upgrade. Problem solved. OP, you aren't poor, are you? |

So are older folks. They do not need first class seats, they want them. They are being very selfish. I see no problem in them asking or offering the kids an incentive to switch, but demanding them is ridiculous. |
This. |
| All these people talking about the elderly grandparents. I am 37 and my grandparents are in their 80’s. These people have teen grandkids. They could be 50. |
. In DCUMlandia there’s no way they’re under 65 lol |
Ludicrous. |
OP, you obviously don’t like your parents. Why did you even invite them to accompany your family on this trip? You should have offered the nicer seats to your parents at the beginning. I think you’re embarrassed that you didn’t do the right thing to start with and now you’re digging in your heels. Who is paying for the cruise? Are your parents paying their own way or are you all paying for that? |
