I loved the color of that suit because I'm also a redhead and that shade of color is ultra-flattering on redheads. Obviously Meghan's version is a trendier color and the fit is more modern -- shorter shorts and boxier jacket, with a tank instead of a blouse. But same vibe and I love it.

My mom wore stuff just like this back in the mid to late 90s. Lol

I didn't read the last 12 pages, but the pink short suit is a no for me. It looks sloppy even on a beautiful person, and it feels dated.

Even women with good bodies sometimes make bad fashion choices. This suit is a miss, and it’s okay for us to say so on an anonymous beauty and fashion forum since she is a public figure.

Even women with good bodies sometimes make bad fashion choices. This suit is a miss, and it’s okay for us to say so on an anonymous beauty and fashion forum since she is a public figure.

Many people aren't criticizing the suit, they are criticizing her body and claiming she looks bad. You can think this suit is a baggy, rumpled mess and still admit she's a beautiful woman with a great body.

When I read comments that say really critical things about her body or face, I just discount everything else they say because they obviously just have an axe to grind. People who go straight to "she's ugly" when talking about an obviously beautiful woman are not to be trusted.

I think if you were around the first time this fashion was popular you probably should skip the trend and leave it to those who missed out. Otherwise you look like you dusted off something from the back of your closet that shouldn't be there anymore.

She’s thin. But she’s not tall like a model or curvy like a femme fatale.

She’s not perfect. In fact, her body isn’t amazing. It’s petite.

It’s on trend, but the exaggerated volume on top is not doing her favors. It’s counter-intuitive, but you add volume to your thinner half to bring your body into proportion. She has amazing legs and understandably wants to flaunt them, but as a petite, she can’t go for the super exaggerated cuts.

Asan aside, she’s quite beautiful. It’s never okay to criticize anybody’s body. The body is never wrong—the clothes are. Let’s keep things positive.

I think this version from Reiss (hers is from Staud) might have avoided the wrinkled linen issue that people are struggling with (I personally don't care, linen wrinkles, I don't get the issue), and it has a more tailored jacket. But I'm guessing people would find these shorts scandalously short on a real person, whereas the longer, slouchier set from Staud offers more coverage, especially at a sporting event where you are seated much of the time.

A lakers game is the wrong venue for this look.

This is one of the few occasions when her ripped jeans would have been appropriate.

I maintain her body is weird. Legs look good but her torso is rectangular no waist different proportions from limbs and her breasts are extremely odd, like noticeably strange.
