According to the attorney’s letter he was not part of the swim practice. He just showed up in the locker room. |
Ever heard of birth control? That used to be what Planned Parenthood was about. |
Yes I’m sure 2023 Republicans support free & easy access to oral & long-term birth control as well as sex ed |
Your types oppose birth control too, don’t pretend you’re okay with it. |
I really barely care about a trans girl being on my kid's sports team or in the locker room, and I don't really buy into trans ideology for the most part (I would be called a TERF by many trans people). I am much more concerned about the future with regards to her having reproductive autonomy. |
Here is the thing: the Republicans don’t have to win on all issues to win elections. They just have to convince some traditional Democrat voters to stay home. It is how Youngkin won in VA.
The Democrat position of going all-in on gender ideology even at the expense of women’s and girls’ safety is a weak point for the Democrats. It may persuade some voters who might have been willing to vote for Democrats to stay home. If Democrats are supporting the ability of random 18-year-old transwomen to walk into a shower room with naked 14-year-old girls, they will lose votes, because that is objectively horrifying. It doesn’t matter how rare that happens, it’s still unacceptable. Republicans don’t have to persuade people to vote for them to win. They just have to persuade some Democrats not to vote. It doesn’t take much in tight areas. |
They are on seriously losing ground where it comes to abortion. Kansas and their fail in the 2022 election should make that obvious.
The fact that the right wing's attempt to cancel Bud Lite failed utterly should be a signal to the GOP that they need to move on from trans/DEI. These are not winning propositions for the GOP and they should move off of them. With crime, they might be more believable, but again, what have they actually done or proposed that would help in any way? Gun violence has gotten worse, Republicans have done absolutely nothing in terms of responsible policy and in fact are encouraging citizens to go even more wild west, and now we're seeing people getting senselessly shot over the most mundane kinds of things. GOP strategists should realize that they don't need to kowtow to the NRA and that they should consider that an overwhelming majority of Americans do in fact want sensible gun reforms. They can do that AND propose means of dealing with crime and come out ahead. |
I have radical views on abortion access as I support free & geographically close access to abortion up until birth. |
