Oakridge Principal

Run as fast as you can. You missed the option school deadline but perhaps you can buy or if that’s not feasible rent somewhere else. My friends kids are in Oakridge and she literally is crying when she tells me about what’s going on in the school.

A post was removed. The PP said that the tears were due to a specific group of kids. If
that’s the case, then the situation is not being well managed. Which brings us back to the title of this thread.

Ugh. Can you say what the post said in a way that wouldn’t violate Jeff’s rules?

Is this something new?

The PP is referring to the OL incident.

And of course, that could NEVER happen with white UMC kids. (sarcasm)

Do we know the backgrounds of the kids involved? There ARE white UMC kids at Gunston, you know; it's not all FRL/ELL/students of color.

A PP implied that lower-income students were to blame. And because poverty and race are closely connected in our country, I read that as an accusation against students of color.

Would you like to know their psychological background, test scores and eating habits as well?

Okay so, I guess the two students involved in the sexual incident are BOTH still going to Oakridge? I feel horrible talking about minors like this but is APS really making a victim of assault stay in the same school as their assailant?

How do you know this?

Someone posted on Facebook that there was a fight between parents at 5th grade graduation. Is this true?
