It stands to reason that the Ds will claim that any candidates opposing their candidates are “extremists.”

I hope every candidate gets a fair chance to be heard.

It’s actually good that Moon and McDaniel are back. And perhaps some of the more moderate independents will end up endorsed by the GOP.

MAGAs and their associates are extremists.

DP. Or, perhaps, you traffic in agit prop and can’t handle the possibility that some candidates who aren’t Ds are neither MAGA/Trump supporters nor extremists.

Actually, PP asked about your reference to "MAGAs and their associates."

So explain what you mean by your language, and why you think it matters in an upcoming local School Board election.

We get it, you think that MAGA policies are acceptable and mainstream. You're free to vote for candidates who represent your world view, just don't be surprised when they lose in a blue county

ITA - I wish the parties couldn't support candidates in what is supposed to be a non-partisan position.

If 1/6/21 isn’t evidence enough for you, then you’re either brainwashed, brain dead or in on the grift. And sadly, the attempt to prevent a peaceful transfer of power is just the tip of the iceberg, but I’m sure y’all don’t believe in icebergs either.

6. Increase pay to teachers

Who supports this? All these things sound good to me.

The candidates running at Large, in Springfield, and in Hunter Mill.

Are you trying to portray crazy Harry Jackson as a moderate?

Harry Jackson has been in the news a lot and none of it good. https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/local/harry-jackson-republican-running-for-fairfax-school-board-spends-hours-conversing-with-far-right-groypers/65-1b8fb3b1-2d96-4300-afd8-b83fdcec79a0

I just read his Twitter feed. Between the Fox News, communism ramblings....yeah no. Some of you say, well it's not fair to group Rs who oppose the current SB with MAGAs but then these are the options. I am not a fan of the status quo but I will take the status quo over this guy. Where are all the reasonable moderates?

Exactly.

The people who still want to have a conversation to share their “moderate views” just to convert you to maga or they don’t realize their maga.

Case in point: former coworker of mine used to complain about her mom sending her links about how people are having abortions as birth control and how it’s so crazy and how her mom is a crazy conservative.

Then the pandemic happened and schools shut down and she started going to the re-open fcps schools meetings and sent her kid to private school and then told her friends she’s a Republican because of that. Oh- and if her daughter needed an abortion it wouldn’t be a problem because she could just fly to Canada and get her one.

Real peach that one. So glad she is gone.

In other words, you can't answer the question, but only use buzzwords and then imply guilt by association.

And I'm trying to find candidates who represent my priorities when it comes to public education in Fairfax County, not my entire "world view."
