As a Pennsylvanian, I am good with Fetterman. He has staff and support and he will continue to get things done - and he is not even remotely the only legislator to have suffered a stroke and remained in office.

His staff weren’t elected to be a Senator. He was.

And he still is the Senator. It's not like he's comatose. Get a grip. There have been many members of Congress who stayed in office after suffering a stroke.

Since House Republicans can’t pass any legislation of significance he isn’t missing much legislatively.

This guy has literally never had a job. Being a senator actually seems like it would be a fun job; but even that is too much for him. He went through a lot before he got elected and really should focus on his health. If he left the senate does not change. No big deal.

Why his wife left him hospitalized and took their kids out of the country to Canada is a big mystery. Wouldn’t your direly depressed spouse who checked himself into the hospital need you? Why would you go to frozen @ss Niagara Falls in February? I am from that area-it’s extremely cold there! No sightseeing or peaceful retreat- they are holed up in a hotel room. Weird.

His wife and kids left the country and Fetterman is severely depressed, unable to communicate normally, and alone in the hospital.

He’s fighting for his physical and mental wellbeing, and no one is getting any representation out of him, of any quality.

He’ll be back just as soon as he is better. Suffering a stroke while campaigning is tough. In the meantime his staff will keep the chains moving, as they do for most offices.

Very ignorant view. There are members that are much more severly impacted and compromised than Fetterman and they are still serving and intend to serve.
