Nanny injury?

I still do not believe OP. She is the scammer. There are so many holes in her story that an Tmy tank could go through.

The nanny story would have been fairly easy to confirm had OP asked her for medical documentation so she could run it through her Worker’s Comp.. There’s no need for all of the speculation.

She can now also report this to care.com or leave a very fact based review so that other people don’t get swindled like she did.

Bad review for what? For alleging the daughter kicked her in head? Taking off work then after her boss acts like a lunatic quiet quitting?? You people are awful. If she was scamming she would have filed a comp claim or asked for extended paid leave. It sounds like the woman took off with plans to return but quickly found out the woman she worked for was batshit. The nanny might even frequent this forum for all we know and got wind if this ridiculous post.

You seem overly invested. More so than someone should be about an anonymous post regarding strangers.

Hi nanny!

That was my thought. And the nanny’s husband probably thinks the same thing and is telling her work somewhere else where you don’t have to dress an 8 year old. None of my kids would be willing to be dressed by someone else at 8 years old.

Are you serious … this was your takeaway? Even if that is a small part of it, the nanny has been a horrible communicator at best and an outright liar at worst.

And while I was out of work for the week following it, I was restricted. Even normal lamps gave me a terrible headache if too bright. Luckily, I have my own office and was able to work with my office lights off and my laptop screen dimmed. Even then, too much time on my laptop and I'd feel terrible. I also couldn't drive for a week after because of the dizzy spells that came and went. I even scumbled walking a few times.

Honestly, after going through one, I'd not want someone with a concussion caring for my kid.

Yikes did you feel better after a week? She’s taking the week off and I’m also off now for the next fee days. I know it’s possible she does have a concussion but I’m surprised she hasn’t just reached out directly to say so.

She has a concussion and needs peace and quiet. You are not in that category. Just from your posts, I can understand why she might very well be looking for a new job. Leave her alone

Do gullible fools like this PP ever come back to eat crow?

I’m sure an episode of real housewives of somewhere will be on soon. Seek your drama there, OP.

So, no. The gullible loons will never own up to it. They will keep on giving their bad advice devoid of logic.
