First priority of the new house- impeachment, defunding Ukraine or abortion?

They'll focus on the border by starting hearings to impeach Mayorkas. The smart ones know there is nothing they can do on cost of living other than passing tax cuts the Senate can kill, but they can pin the border crisis on the Biden administration and try to link non-enforcement there to the increase in crime.

So ignorant. Anyone that has met or worked with recent immigrants sees how resilient and hardworking are these people. I know few American families that have what it takes to pick up and start over in a new country. We are lucky to have most of these people.

Republican voters, including those living in border states seem to strongly disagree with you

It will impeachment or some other "cater to the lowest denominator" issue. We all know they don't really care or have any solutions to "inflation" and other issues.

Just look at today's employment numbers. We have a SHORTAGE of workers, which is causing wages to go up, which is leading to more inflation. We NEED more immigrants, especially those who are willing to take lower-paying jobs.

That doesn't mean they're correct. You know what they say about opinions . . .

of course, it's more important than inflation, right Rs?

And the election solved all of the scary crime, too.

Shocking.

Until it’s one of your family members mugged, shot, or pushed in front of a subway train. Amazing how many people take a ‘if crime doesn’t affect me, it’s not there’ attitude

I see lots of people getting killed in acts of violence with GUNS every day. A friend's father was killed at the Navy Yard by one. I know other people shot (some died) in smaller acts of violence with guns.

It's not me, it's the RWNJs who don't want to do anything about that.

I would love to see them survive and make it after going through what some of these immigrants have to experience. Many of these people have passes a very difficult test. We should appreciate the resilience we are getting in our population of whining complainers.

They're winning in Southern Texas including among second generation immigrants. They're winning in Florida among people risked their lives coming over in rafts.

Mistake. Immigrants contribute to the economy rather than haen it

We need comprehensive visa reform. GIVE THEM VISAS to come here and work. Make the visas conditional on checking in, being gainfully employed, contributing and obeying the laws.

Then CBP can stop trying to boil the ocean playing whack a mole vs millions of "illegals," then the border can get under a lot better control, and law enforcement can narrow down and focus on JUST the problem actors.

DO IT ALREADY. As for people who say it's a sneaky dem plot to get millions of dem voters, a.) a lot of them don't want to stay here, instead they want to come, work, make a bunch of money to send home, and return, and b.) maybe if you Republicans weren't so toxic and racist toward them they might consider voting for you if they did get citizenship.
