Look I'm perfectly prepared to believe the Beckham parents are narcissistic and image-obsessed, and that Victoria could not stand to be displaced by a young woman her eldest son is besotted with. But the press seems to be coming entirely from the kids, with Brooklyn parroting his wife's concerns. I guess that's what happens when you raise a weak trustfund kid with no mind of his own. Don't be surprised when the weakness of mind is manipulated by another person against you. They're probably all a-holes but I'm inclined to think Nicola is the worst of them.

I agree but if there is ANY truth about that dance, and I suspect there is, Victoria and Nicola are in a hard competition for worst ever.

I would back Victoria. She is a know quantity. The kids are useless trustafarians.

Victoria was never really known for sexy dancing, even when with the Spice Girls. Since the SG, she has worked hard to escape the “chav” reputation - removed the fake boobs and reinvented herself as a serious designer so I would be surprised if she did anything outrageous.


I can understand BB’s POV that under his parents, he felt stress and anxiety. They both have had really successful careers. The pressure to make something of himself must be awful.

I guess Nicola/her family are happy with him just cruising through life somewhat rudderless, so I can see why his new life may be better for his mental health.

BS about Victoria. Still has fake boobs, just smaller ones, and wore quite the “look at me” dress to the reception. I fully believe she didn’t like Nicola, who knows maybe for a good reason, but also didn’t like being displaced as her son’s #1.

Why believe Nicola? She has no credibility.

I haven't read this whole thread but think I get the gist. The truth is, Nicola and Brooklyn haven't accomplished anything of note in their entire lives. Maybe the Beckham embarrassed them, but I'm sure they also have a lot of shame around being nepo babies. They are probably just embarrassed in general, and they definitely have too much time on their hands if they are worried about something Marc Anthony said at a wedding 4 years ago. If they stop bringing it up, it will go away. Nobody cares about these two, sorry to say.

Marc Anthony was a guest at the wedding, not hired entertainment. Near the end of the celebrations he went up on stage and called up his good friend Victoria. Stupid of him to say she was the most beautiful woman in the room but to still be mad at Victoria for not calling him out and correcting him and saying no Nicola is the fairest of them all is immature.

Absolutely. Even if Nicola is horrible, she was their son's choice. They don't need to love her but they need to be polite and generally supportive of the newlyweds.

They are wildly overestimating the public's good will for two spoiled nepobabies complaining about such unimportant things. People will take an interest in the gossip, but nobody thinks they are any sort of victim. They are making fools of themselves which won't be good for whatever "brand" they are trying to build.

The whole thing is so ridiculous. These people seem so bored, entitled and self centered. I’m entertained by the spectacle of it but the nature of this conflict is about a clash of egos and airing dirty laundry like this is a terrible look. BB looks like a pawn, much like Harry has been in Meghan’s game of chess. Only the Harry/meghan/BRF was far more interesting given the insight (however one sided) into the monarchy drama.
