I don’t. Really follow her but I don’t see what a conundrum she is. She has a close family, happens to be from a very wealthy family, and is also self absorbed. None of those things are mutually exclusive. I have a family member who is the same way. Just had an over the top wedding and doesn’t stop posting pictures of herself from every angle. Me me me. Parents worship the ground she walks on.

Not that improbable. It was reported that Paul McCartney’a current wife chose a wedding dress designed by Stella McCartney to stay in good graces.

This. If the young woman came from a family that wasn't affluent, she'd probably be kissing up to them. She doesn't need their money and she adores her own generous parents. Life will throw a million awful adversities at you. This is not one of them. They should let.it.go. Let her enjoy her parents and have their support when she has a baby one day. Let him enjoy a good marriage. Be happy and lead your life. Just because your rich doesn't mean you won't face things like cancer, death, disability, and horror. Don't sweat the small stuff.
