I’m the statistics PP — that’s an interesting question, but I haven’t seen anything specifically about religion. The only stats I’ve seen on religion are this chart that shows whether people of different denominations are generally pro-choice or anti-choice (about 1/2way down the page). Results are very mixed — none of the many groups comes close to having a single shared view on abortion. But overall, the only groups where more than half of the survey respondents believed abortion should be illegal in most or all cases are White Evangelical Protestants, Hispanic Evangelical Protestants, Hispanic Catholics, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Mormons.
