Yeaaas, Poseurs with the creepy window mannequin and the second floor dance floor that felt like it was going to cave in. Good times!

The Bayou and Mr. Days took a lot of my time and money.

Rally in the Alley. Ha!

That's not really Georgetown though is it?

Anyone remember (and can add to the list)

- Au Pied de Cochon?

Loved it. Was open very late and great ambiance.

Was it Tout Va Bien? I used to wait tables there. It was next to Paper Moon I think? It's all a haze now. Used to finish my shift, then we would go out dancing at The Vault or what was the other dance club like it? The 5th Column?

Loved the Vault and 5th c. Also Cities in Adams Morgan. Loved the dance clubs so much. Now I dance in front of the mirror if no one else is home. Miss those days!

I was wondering when I'd see the Key Theater pop up.

Who remembers the Biograph?

I loved going to movies at The Biograph. I still wince whenever I go by that CVS that replaced it. Such great art house and foreign films! Now the closest place for me is Bethesda Cinema.

Yes! hippy dippy health food store on Wisconsin below M.

The Childe Harold...or was that Dupont Circle?

Child Harold was Dupont, but you reminded me of the French Market on Wisconsin above Q!

We had our rehearsal dinner at Childe Harold!

My dad took me there when “vegetarian” was a novelty .

I loved the FAO Schwartz and going to Georgetown Mall with my mom and dad back when it was new and beautiful.

Hootie and the Blowfish played a Halloween party there before their first big hit. Remember thinking they were a fun band, but not much else... and had no idea I'd seen them play live until I noticed the name on a plastic souvenir cup I still use to scoop our dog's kibble out of the bin.

Hootie & the BF used to play at the Balcony (ToTs) when I was at Va Tech.

Third Edition, Garretts and the Fishmarket. Ah, the early 80's. Upstairs at Garrett's was the place for all preppy kids between 21 and 24.

Spent a lot of time at Garrets & Third Edition.
