Twitter moms > DCUM moms

At least they have the guts to put their names to their takes

Lol

Anyway why don’t they take this on?

Oh the Twitter moms don’t solve problems or actually do anything to help schools. They just yell “think if the children!” and make sarcastic comments (with gifs!) when there are issues.

💯 kids have been out of school long enough. Distribute the tests Th/F and resume school as planned on 1/3. Most people need to go back to work that day and can’t afford to take any more time off.

They are making teachers come in on 1/3 and 1/4 to pass out the tests. They can’t make teachers come in over the break. This isn’t some sort of extra days off for teachers and staff. They will be in the buildings handing out tests.

Why why why? They already have testing sites rolled out. Are those not good enough?

Teachers - I am sorry that this is also part of your job.

No the testing sites are not good enough. We have run out of tests.

Also testing on the 3rd and 4th gives more time for this to die off.

And teachers have contracts and are entitled to leave. They aren’t your servants. They shouldn’t have to come in on Sunday to help you out.

Agreed - I waited 1.5 hours for a test I had an appointment for at St. Colletta. Obviously there isn't enough capacity.

As one of the so-called Twitter moms you’re probably mocking, I certain am advocating that test-to-return is required. Otherwise it’s just theatre and we’ll end up back here by mid-January.

This take shows that you just like you argue and oppose, and ignore any nuance. Supporting safety doesn’t mean opposing kids in school.
